Yeah that shit is nice
It's ok but it's not his best album...I skipped a bunch of songs on there...
^i only listened to it once, so i'm not really sure. I didnt really care for his second one too much. his first one was good, though i thought it was overrated.
I think Robin Thicke got the best album released so far this year
Legend got some real soft songs on his new album...he was sounding real vulnerable on the album. but it has it's fair share of jams. It isn't better than that Robin Thicke album though I agree on that aspect
I don't know what I missed on that Robin Thicke, because it wasn't all that too me. Still a breath of fresh air compared all the other shit that has been dropping.
But this Legend is dope.
Robin Thicke's latest is better than Evolver and I prefer both their solo albums over their latest...
Actually I mean most recent because if they didn't make anymore albums then this would be their last but since I'm sure they both will this is their most recent...
lol, thats confusing as hell. You're saying that the ones that just came out are better than their previous?
haha, I'm not reading that again.
I didn't hear John Legend's new cd, but I have Robin Thicke's...listen to it everyday almost right now. I don't really like Legend's current single..but I'll have to check his album out.
to me in a sense there styles are somewhat the same but john brings it much better
Never really been a John Legend fan outside of a few singles, but I purchased this album. Don't know why. I do not like it. R&B is not doing a lot for me these days.
^what kinda r&b do you like? there is something for everybody
Once Again > Evolver?
Evolver > Once Again?
I think after John Legend's first album came out...his style changed. Or atleast, I didn't like any of his other albums after the 1st.
This album seems kinda sloppy. Not the usual high-quality product I've come to expect from JL. Kinda like Musiq's last album. Not bad, some songs are okay (Green Light, Quickly, If You're Out There), but it's nothing worth rushing out for.
good question...I don't think my taste is specific to any single type of r&b. Some people appeal to me moreso than others. I like a lot of older stuff. Most recently, I liked Ne-Yo's first album - Lloyd's Street Love was good. I like upbeat stuff - John Legend just isn't for me.
