We've been on top a few times...

It's just crazy that we're on top with the squad we're putting out there right now...

When Longoria and Crawford(and Percival) went out it looked like we'd start falling off a bit....but they haven't missed a beat...

    Some great defense played yesterday.

Hopefully Garza has his shit working tonight....I want him to emerge as our ace.

    Lester is Boston's ace.

Beckett has a lot of talent, but he isn't their top gun till the playoffs..

    an ace? probably not

but what i was saying was wang's stuff isnt anywhere close to becketts, but he is very effective with what he has and knows how to gobble innings and keep damage down

Dice K needs to calm that walk total down...

Only pitcher I see that walks batters like him is Burnett....but Burnett has never had control....just ridiculous movement...

ya word..but he doesn't like to give in...i mean if he walks alotta guys but if he gets outta jam ...wats the harm?? lol

but word he leaves the game to early...he needs to go deep with our bullpen..which is average

Cliff Lee is a shew in for the AL Cy Young award....only bright spot in that rotation..

I still think Halladay should be considered, but with Toronto chalking up L's on his resume so I doubt he'll get a look..

NL is Webb, Webb and Webb.....Lincecum might wrap it up next year though....kids a beast...

^ That's why Kaz pisses me off....BB's and deep counts keep us burning up the bullpen...

It's always a relief when Shields pitches because you know you're going to get 7-9 innings of work....

The ace needs to finish 7..

Edit: Halladay has 8 CG....That's a fucking stud...

CC also has 8 now and 4 Shutouts

Carmona is bad with the walks also this year. He has nearly 60 right now but has only thrown like 80 innings

5 of them with Milwaukee. That's nuts..

    9 games, 8 wins 1.60 e.r.a ....Jesus.

I rarely pay the NL any attention...I knew CC was going wild over there but I didn't realize he was pitching that dominant..
