he'll likely get his faced boxed in, but you have to give the guy props for putting himself out there like that.

I've never heard many bad things about JCVD. Seagal is a renowned prick.

JCVD challenged Segal to a fight before, Mr. Aikido thought it was a bad idea so he ran away...

doesn't want to tarnish his unblemished record?

i think the only movie seagal ever even got hurt in was that one where he was in vietnam and they drugged him, and even then he fucked them all up somehow.

he never gets touched in his movies, it's stupid lol. oh well, he'd get his fat ass owned all day.

I remember Zito saying on Stern he hit JCVD while he was sitting down at a table. He didn't want to take a chance at Van damme being able to use his feet.

Van Damme has a professional record of 19-1, all by knockout, with 15 of those wins coming in the first round. His only loss was via decision, and he later avenged that loss.

    Yeah..... Fighting!!!

Assuming you were talking to me:

What year he last fought has nothing to do with anything I've said. You need to read my responses in their proper context, and consider the specific things these other people said, that I was responding to. Many people in this thread are making it sound as though JCVD is just an actor, and a fake fighter, which couldn't be further from the truth.

As far as him fighting big names, I'll turn this around on you... Why don't you give me a list of all the big name fighters of his weight division during that era? You'll find that it's very difficult, because kickboxing and fighting in general was not as popular back then as it is today, so there wasn't the big names then as have been in more recent years. However, Michael J. Heming was the European Karate Association's middle weight champion, a title he lost to Van Damme. He also fought and beat Sherman Bergman, who is a very accomplished kickboxer with an extensive record.

Who me? If it's me you're referring to you wrong. I'm not a fan of his at all, I just happen to know the facts about his history in martial arts.

If someone posted some false information about Peewee Herman, and I knew the facts, I'd correct them too. It has nothing to do with being a fan.

    truth.

No denying the guy has an uphill battle ahead of him, but to deny his real life skills is silly.
