Never underestimate the power of the mob, it killed Rome, much like it's senators did...

I was honestly expecting a "too long, didn't read" response...:funny:

...in a way it's learning from our own mistakes, however we easily discard the past, history is the magnificent indicator of deeds that shouldn't be forgotten getting repeated over and over again ~ so in a way, I agree, we never learn, unless we're forved into it.

...the last part sparked me to think that a war of epic proportions would make a lot of people reconsider, and learn things really fast ~ but it's sad it usually has to come to that...

lol.. naw that's a tactic used for back pedaling. I want to engage on this topic. it was sorta a chore to read, but it kept me intrigued bc i genuinely felt that this view you presented was a original idea

For those who are not very skillful or knowledgable in economics, if interested, here's my "breaking it down"...

1st John Smith takes his hard-earned money to the bank.

2nd John Smith regularly and properly pays tax.

3rd People like John Smith are many.

4th There aren't that many scumbags.

5th Scumbag, which has "balls", will borrow money from the bank to buy shares.

6th Bank loans the money, which is deposited into the bank or John Smith, or from John Smith's money fwith which he paid taxes.(!)

7th Scumbag for the loan he got, guarantees with purchased stocks and his empty pockets (!)

8th This is seen by other punks.

9th Other scumbags repeat the process.

10th The Bank is excited, because the money "rotates".

11th Banks are keen because the money's "rotates".

12th The state is excited, because the money is "rotating" and reports of continuing economic "growth" are established.

13th John Smith has nothing from this - unless vertigo due to excessive work counts.

14th At some point the market has too many scumbags.

15th The system breaks ~ shares go to hell.

16th The bank loses money ~ John Smith's money!

17th Government helps the bank (not John Smith!).

    18th Raise taxes.

19th John Smith pays raised taxes.

20th From John Smith's money (tax money) to the bank gets money grom the gov't, so that is lives on (John Smith's lost money for the second time!)

21st This gov't does this a few times on various different occasions.

22nd Always on John Smith's account.

23rd When this doesn't help anymore ~ because banks fall one after another, the gov't starts printing money.

    24th Inflation begins.

25th Scumbags have most of their assets transferred to the Swiss/French banks to enrich their investment.

26th Since the exchange and stock markets get into a crisis, scumbags start buying shares of food and food products.

    27th Food prices explode.

28th John Smith and his family, as well as others are hungry.

    29th Scumbags are rich.

30th The system crashes ~ but only for John Smith.

And everyone lives happily ever after. The end.

So I'm guessing you're never perstered and tortured by insomnia or nightmares. Probably because it's even harder to believe in dreams, as is in life.

Borrowing people's intellectual work without accrediting them for it, is still a punishable offense, LP.

He's still working with material that isn't his. In this case, it's more about the principle, than anything else.
