see what your saying about it being a "new" sound but it was more than that Beats By The Pound , even when they makes a dope beat , sounds cheap
like stock sounds , synths ,drums etc. it sounds like the whole beats where made in old Syths w/ drums built in the keyboard , just sounds cheap like discount beats
you obv. ion't know many cats from down here , Give it 2 Em' Raw (one that KLC / BBTP produced was his worst album
Dame Grease? That's the dude that did DMX shit right? (I'm young so forgive me..)
He gets points. Still relevant
Had the best song on MGK's album.
Shit, I almost forgot about DJ Khalil.
Self Scientific >>>
J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League are underrated too. Their joints are super epic. Heavy on the orchestral sounds.
DJ KHALIL! HOLY FUCK @SuperNegger
Drake - Fear >>>>>>>>>
They get mad props because they use all live sounds nowadays. They're stepping into that flying lotus range of musicality.
Yeah, dude has some of the best fucking beats and he does quality over quantity.
Edit: Drake shouts out to Little Brother and Slum Village in this track... he still a backpacker at heart.
^Jay Electronica of this producing shit
The Roots >>>
Will Sessions >>>
For live hip hop.
Ski Beatz >>>
For his jazzy shit, too dope.
saw someone put Aesop Rock -None shall Pass (as one of there fav beats)
don't know who produced that but Aesop Rock actually produced Booza Tooth (alot of cats hated on the production)
but i thought this beat was actually pretty crazy (its really 2 beats in 1 joint.....2ND half is my fav part) --what ya'll think about Aesop's production ?? shits GRIMEY AS FUCK--->
Who still remembers their facial expression when they first heard this?
I put None Shall Pass, but the entire album. It's got a bunch of different producers, just like Chronic 2001. I was listing albums instead of just producers when I made my list.
Aesop Rock's Nike+ Running track is dope as all fuck.
Soda, that song got lunch room tables abused.
Right. That and Aaliyah's One In A Million.
lml this was the only desktop beat in middle school
Busta Rhymes -Touch It (Dirty) - YouTube

Damn, I was 2, 3 years outta high school when that dropped.
