Sometimes, Geedorah, one needs to use tact and self restraint if that 'truth' is mean or hurtful to someone.

    Why?
They should have thought about it before they did stupid things and now its a problem when someone mentions it?

I'm just not like that, I guess.

Yeah, so people make mistakes. It's just mean/unclassy/unneccesary to beat someone up with it.

We are two different people, that's all.

How could you not have a cellphone in this day and age? I find that weird.

I had no interest in one until I started this new job.

Often times I work alone until midnight. I'm def not afraid to do it, I like working by myself.

One night, though, I was working at a school in a small town in the outskirts. It was set quite a ways from the subdivisions etc.. I had to set the alarm by a certain time, which meant I had to leave the building. Once outside I realized my ride had not shown up, and I had no way to find out what was going on. It was pitch black and I would have had to walk quite a ways before finding doors to knock on to use their phone. I waited for a bit....sure enough he was running behind and showed up about 10 minutes later.

A cell phone would have given him an opportunity to warn me of his tardiness, or me an opportunity to inquire.
