every now and then rm.c surprises me
this post deep as fuck yo
i think having everyone serve two years in the military or some type of civil service is what is needed to save america.
something like that
Imo, at least 60% (my estimate) of people are endlessly lazy. Watching stupid shows on tv, dreaming of cars, women, men and holidays from commercials, along with eating chips and getting elegantly super-sized.
People are generally envious, jealous and malicious plants, who want to get through life with minimal input and expecting to get maximum output in return.
And for a long time, society has supported this, and I dare say even encouraged it.
My friends get angry when I tell them that my generation is a bunch of dreamers with no plans, a bunch of people who feel they're entitled to something with no action towards receiving that entitlement. People who expect too much and do too little to get what they think they want or get what they think they deserve.
Irony of it all is that their extreme entitlement of "success" is what's holding them back. Better yet, the aftermath of success.
Also, this comes to mind..
I think everyone is lazy at some point and to an extent. Laziness is necessary to unwind sometimes. Otherwise people would go crazy. A small amount of laziness is good.
I'm on vacation this week, but I picked up 24 hours of OT this week. Just finished building a bathroom in my house. Last night before working the graveyard shift, I began to take down my ceiling in the basement to begin the next project. I worked 2300-0700. Got home. Slept until 1230. Now I'm relaxing on my couch for a little until I restart the basement.
So. Again. I think a small amount of laziness is necessary
Hardest working man on the east coast tbh.
You built a bathroom now you're doing the basement. You're not lazy for relaxing on the couch bruh. I take a week a yr off and sit around the house in pj pants and watch movies. If that makes me lazy oh well.

Thanks @J o o k
Yeah @Vulgar I see what you're saying. But in a way that's a minor case of laziness. Not always a bad thing. Laziness is necessary to unwind
i make alot of typos/spelling errors on this site
but id never have that on my resume or a professional email
i know people above me typing your like ur like shits a joke
technology ruined peoples common sense
Actually I pride myself in proper spelling and grammar. Even through text. Everyone makes fun of me.
online is the only place i dont give a fuck
texts emails all that shit im straight legit even my manager texted me to instead of too and she knew she was gonna get it next day lol
Yes and no.
Part of the problem re laziness at work is lack of company commitment to employees.
Back in the day you worked at one company for your entire career. They supported you through tough times and gave you a retirement pension and in exchange you went above and beyond when needed.
Nowadays everyone is disposable and you'll get fired ASAP so you can be replaced by a third-world immigrant who will work for lower wages and isn't required to be covered by healthcare - so why wouldn't you slack off when you can get away with it?
On the other hand we work longer hours than ever before. The rise of consumer culture demands it. It's the only way a family can afford all the ubiquitous luxuries like smartphones, widescreen TVs etc.
i agree w/ cire and all the conservatives in this discussion
It's called Leisure.
Everyone takes it in some form whether they know it or not.
I think the world needs to be more lazy
Everything is way to stressed and fast as it is.
Back when I was working 12 hours a day or working OT on the holidays, the extra paper would basically be going to shit i didn't need. Now I don't even see a point in working more than a part-time job so you can enjoy life the rest of the time. That's what your going to be doing when you retire anyway. Fishing, watching movies, traveling places, sleeping in late, hiking, enjoying family. Mind as well do it now if you think you deserve the rest. Life is simple
I think the Baby boomer generation worked so hard because it was encouraged by society. Now our generation wants to chill and have fun
