    hes not better than dilla... but imo hes better than the others you mentioned... eventhough he may look up to the pioneers, i think he has outstyled them in the short period of time hes been in the picture

    but if you look at it most the other producers being mentioned in here are boom bap type shit....

    he dont fit....he had some dope beats though........back in 99-2000

    Chief Xcel is up there for me cause i grew up listening to a bunch of Solesides/Quannum shit.

    i never liked 80% of his beats......they just lack soul to me.....not soul as in the samples but flat out blue note soul........he's not better than premo or timbo or dre or hi-tek....hi-tek is really underrated even though he is a dilla clone at times
