Yeah, Buckwild had more than his fair share of bangers...Lord Finesse too, another DITC alum, both are underrated as hell when it comes to the production.

Any producer who was part of that golden era of NYC hip hop from '92-95 deserves serious props, that was my favourite period of music ever.

I know you're trying to be funny but Mannie Fresh is fucking ill. Take away some of the stupid raps over most of his beats and he makes ill shit.

did Buckwild do Wrong Side of the Tracks?
    mannie fresh is retardedly ill
he literally produced everything that came out of Cash Money Records from 1993-2005 and was pretty much the only reason those guys got popular as im pretty sure he wrote all their hooks too

I never knew that....but I can't say I'm too surprised. That's the problem with "producers", sometimes the cats putting in the bulk of the actual work aren't the ones getting the credit for it.

Like Daz for example, he was saying for years that him and Warren G produced "The Chronic" and "Doggystyle". It's common knowledge now that Dre just works the drums on the mpc while he has the session players come up with melodies and grooves; he has a stable of cats working underneath him, but it's only the Dr. Dre brand that gets put on the final product.

I did two tracks with Da Beatminerz (Mr. Walt) and sold him my MPC. He good peoples.
Still got the beat tape from him that he sent, and trust, walt is THAT DUDE.

BTW whoever said that Mannie Fresh ain't dope is trippin.
Mannie singlehandly kept the 808 kit through out the 90's in existance before it just started becoming cool again recently. Plus he use the SP1200 and any producer that uses that is officially an OG.

Just Blaze does have the best beats to write to imo. They have a lot of emotion to em.

Also think DJ Toomp is one of the hottest producers out right now.
