is Dustin Pedroia really a viable MVP candidate?

I know all about Milton but I don't think he will get much of a look but then again he might, kind of like the year Barry Larkin won MVP but then again the Rangers aren't making the playoffs

Honestly people are so hung-up on saves that KRod just might win that shit. The AL is a toss-up but Albert Pujols should sweep the voting in the NL... the man is unfuckingbelievable.

Bradley isn't on par with Hamilton, let alone having a better year.

Forgive me for liking guys getting on base at a 420 clip with a 600 slg over a 350 with a 550

He's hitting 327, Kinsler is hitting 319 and Ham is hitting 303

The only difference is Bradley doesn't even have 400 AB's yet, and the other 2 have over 500, so their raw #'s might look more impressive. But his HR/AB is right in line with Ham's.

Why would you pick Kinsler, because of STEALS? I sure as fuck hope not. RBI's are a horrible stat for comparison as well, but even there in way less AB's, he has more than Kinsler. I really wanna know how you guys think he's not having a better year.

    Bradley: 327/446/583 22 HR 31 2B 379 AB
    Kinsler: 319/375/517 18 HR 41 2B 518 AB
    Hamilton: 303/365/542 31 HR 30 2B 555 AB

Looks like a lot more than ONE stat to me.

Bradley's a DH first of all (for all of 20 games anyway).
He's played in about 20 less games than Hamilton. It's closer with Kinsler because he's hurt now.

Sly move completely disregarding Runs and RBI in the equation though. Great way to help prove your point, tell strictly your side of the story.

RBI's and runs are team-driven stats

Fuck put Pujols on the Rangers and he gets 200 RBI

    RBI's, runs, wins, etc.

Should not come into play regarding individual awards.

    DH's dont win MVP's...

    period.

Matter of fact....Off the top of my head....correct me if i'm wrong, but there has never been a DH MVP....Full fledged DH...

    Here's some reasons why

    21-2...On a team that's 3rd in the central, tied for 8th in the A.L.
Leads the MLB with an insane 2.28 e.r.a. That alone is fucking sick..
4 complete games, 2 shutouts. He's only given up 28 walks and 51 runs ALL FUCKING YEAR..To put it in perspective....Sabathia gave up more runs w/ Cleveland PRIOR to be traded to Milwaukee

    The man's a machine...

    I would love it...

It'd be great for the city of St. Petersburg and developing a fan base in the area...

    But it's highly unlikely..

    You're talking about Pedroia, right?

I couldn't even fathom the thought of you saying Cliff Lee hasn't been the MVP of his own team..
