What happened to only bringing out features, eh?

Other thing I don't get...why use a darker tone of powder than what your skin tone actually is? Just looks horribly uneven.

Not sure why girls feel this is needed. I, personally, hate clowns

I see this often when out in public, and I have a near uncontrollable urge to scrape it off with the putty knife they used to apply it.

Do they think that stuff is bondo??

Smh, it's not a good look, not a good look at all.

And yeah, what's with the darker shade of powder? What happened to blending into your natural skin tone to even things out?

Actually most girls look better w/o makeup. Other than mascara & lipstick/gloss I don't see the need.

But the weirdest thing 2 me is the over plucking of the eyebrows to draw them in & applying lip liner like 2 inches above your lips or a different color liner than the lipstick & fake lashes that shit always makes you guys look like drag queens.

It's when ladies use layers upon layers of make up that makes them look ridiculous.

Make up is a strange part of human conventions.

I never wore make up until I was in high school. When I did, I intentionally painted my face like a clown. More specifically, like The Crow. (I was very fascinated with that movie series since I was little.) The reason though... was ignorance. It wasn't something they taught in school, except maybe beauty school. And the only person in my life that would ever take time out their day to teach me anything was my brother, who didn't know jack about make up.

Now and days, I can learn if I want to. There is the internet. But I still have a clown face which has since evolved into an original design.

Women who cake their faces might be doing so for a variety of reasons. The immediate two I can think of is one being ignorance. The other being insecurity. That's the one that I think is the saddest. A guy might say, "oh, I like a girl who doesn't wear make up." But what they fail to recognize is that the girl might be wearing make up in a subtle fashion.

Hanging around reddit's TwoX subreddit, you hear a lot abotu people's reactions. As ignorant as some women might be, men are more so.

On an unrelated note, I think guys who wear make up are sexy.

it's one of those things where i wonder how it works:

    women are beautiful without makeup
    women put on makeup
makeup dries up and destroys women's faces
    women are ugly without makeup
women must wear makeup to be beautiful

that's how i perceive it, generally. so if women never used makeup, would they be gorgeous naturally? is makeup what makes makeup necessary? i think so.

    fuckin hate makeup.

They probably do it cover up imperfections... ie., acne, scars, birthmarks, etc.

I saw a picture of Taylor Swift without makeup and she looked a lot better imo. She was unrecognizable. Which was good or else I'd have to explain what I was doing looking at a picture of Taylor Swift.

My favorite part was all the men's opinions.

Nothing is ever complete until the heterosexual white man gets the final word.
