i don't feel like there was any standout acting performance like DK, but i also think they can't be compared that closely, since the nature of the movies are quite different. i really enjoyed the movie, especially the part where everything is coming together.

the kids were wearing the same clothes from all the other dreams

but, no matter how much people debate the end

the most important part was that dicaprio left his totem on the table and walked away, indicating that he DIDNT care if it was a dream or not.

Everyone I've talked to about this movie is so caught up in the details of who did what and when, but my biggest overall problem with this movie is that it was way too straight forward. I like movies that show me things instead of telling me about them. I know a modicum of exposition is always required in psychological science fiction like this, but did we really need to be beat in the face with it time and time again?

Also, I don't think Ellen Page got the opportunity to show any of her acting range in this one. An actress of her considerable talents is just grossly underutilized in a role like this one.

You would like a movie called "Three Colors: Red". Krystof Kieslowski does that better than anyone.

And if you haven't seen it, In The Bedroom is a perfect example.

Christopher Nolan has said that the 90's movies like The Matrix and Dark City influenced him when he wrote this script.

But for real all of Christopher Nolan's movies have been dope. You have to check out Memento or The Prestige as well, because those were great as well.
