Derrick Rose is a top five point guard from Chicago. He will be going to Memphis in the fall. Dude is nice, he is honestly the best high school point guard I've seen in my life, but to say that he will be better than Lebron is stupid, because its comparing apples to oranges. Lebron is a forward, who has point guard skills, while Rose is strictly a point guard. That fact alone will limit what Rose is able to do. I see Rose being a top five point guard in the league in about four years, but even if Rose reaches his full potential, its not the same as Lebron's potential.

Rose can dunk better than lebron.

Rose can dribble better than lebron.

Rose has better defense than lebron.

Rose can shoot better than lebron.

Rose can pass as well as lebron.

And Rose can make all the HARD SHOTS. Something lebron can't even begin imagining.

So really.... act like it's not true. Rose is FAR better all around than Lebron is.

Fuck, Lebron's 22 and STILL can't shoot for shit.

I seen him in the high school all-american...

after watching that game, I think Jared Bayless will be dope (he's goin to Arizona), but Michael Beasley was clean as hell in that game

OJ Mayo will be in the draft next year, dude that won high school player of the year (Kevin Love, UCLA) will be dope in due time...

but...from what I seen...Rose is a shoot first PG, never really seen the dude pass the ball...

That was a good video, but their has been a shit load of badass HS point guards who havent lived up to their hype, so why should I think this guy will be great in the NBA?

Sebastian Telfair wasn't this polished in HS, and neither was Lebron.

Lebron cherry picked in highschool far more than he does with his layups now in the nba.

Best all around players in the NBA? wtf? He is ONE DIMENSIONAL and proves it constantly.

LeBron is a great player, no way Rose gets close to him. Rose is basically an undersized SG. He did play PG in high school, but thats high school. His game makes him more suitable for the SG position than the PG (like Gilbert Arenas etc...)

And he isn't even the top PG prospect in his class. OJ Mayo is.

Don't forget he was one of two players to net 800 points, 200 assists and 200 boards in his first 30 playoff games.

Rose won't lead a team to a NBA finals in 5 years. Neither will Kobe.

if you want rippy to go away, next time he makes an attention-seeking iditoic post, make sure the view count is ZERO. that'll boggle his mind, but not like there's anything inside of it.

For those saying that Rose is an undersized two guard, or a shoot first point guard, its clear that you have never seen a game of his. He is a pure point guard. He affects games in the same way that Jason Kidd does. He can dominate the entire game without scoring a single point. He led his high school team to back to back state titles with literally no one else on his roster that is going to play high major D1 ball. He led his team to a victory against Oak Hill which has five high major D1 prospects on the team. Derrick Rose is a point guard in the truest sense of the word, and is going to be a great NBA player, I just don't think comparing him to Lebron is even applicable since thier games are so different.

^Took the words right out of my mouth. I remember when people were trying to say he was nothing but a ballhog and his team couldn't win without him scoring. So for like the next 2-3 games he didn't nothing but dish out assit and play defense. Wasn't even looking to score, even when he had the wide open shot. Needless to say his team won all of those games. Dude is gonna bring Memphis it's first championship! Bitches.
