The health care system is my main reason. The innovative system in Canada vs. America's failed, over-extended, money hungry system.

I am a very capable chef and restaurant manager. My soon-to-be wife that will move with me has been a Hooter's Girl for the last 3 1/2 years...is that an accepted skill? :p

Traditionally? I would agree with you. I am 27. Today I see the reality of having Bush policy effect my nation until I am into my 32nd year on Earth.

    I have a child and a family.

The rift that is EVIDENT in the polls is the same rift that exists at the core of this nation.

I do not want my daughter to be raised in this country.

I have a felony conviction from 1995. I have already looked into the process I have got to take with the Canadian authorities.

If I had the option? I would prefer Holland or Belgium. I share custody of my daughter though...and her Mom is here for good.

Toronto, ON would be ideal. I love that city and I have been there 4 times in the last 2 years.

Quite a drive though - back and forth to/from a Detroit N. Suburb.

Canada is ill. And I visit the U.S frequently, I can say that I personally prefer Canada, people are friendlier, a lot less racism, and ya I've heard some stories about health care down there that made me go wtf. Only thing I like more about the U.S. is the weather and wayyy more sports facilities.

no... we have 3, used to have 4...

the Canadian Alliance (reformists) and Progressive Conservatives not so long ago merged into one party since the beliefs were so similar and it was called the Canadian Conservative Party

    theres the Liberal party

and then the NDP, which is democratic...

theres also the bloc and the green party but they aren't shit....

and in reality, its still a 2 party system because only either the liberal candidate or the conservative candidate ever win, its exactly like the US in that way

but our electoral system shits on yours

it's done by city.... you vote for your local liberal or conservative and thats 1 more seat for that party... the party who wins the most in each town... win the election

so last time Harper was the conservative leader, and martin was liberal, i wanted harper to win but i couldn't vote directly for him, that wouldnt have mattered, instead i vote for my local conservative candidate and it helps the party(stephen harper) get into office

    its really hard to explain

yeah im 18, ill be 19 next week though.

my friends went to canada,.... i cant remember if it was vancouver or BC but they said it was turning into a mini amsterdam. which is very tight, because i would LOVE to live in amsterdam. I went there over the summer with my friends and god DAMN! one of the best times of my life. Not only the weed and everything, their society is so much better, more organized, happier, nicer. damn i miss that place. i remember walkin down the streets fucked up as hell saying "THIS IS THE DEFINITION OF HEAVEN, HOW CAN ANYTHING GET BETTER THAN THIS" and goin on and on.....heh

anyways from the people ive talked to, the weed is almost HALF the price as over here.

Here, I'm actually about to pick one up in like 2 mins, it goes for $100, MAYBE like 95 if your lucky.

In Amsterdam, it was $4-$8 a gram, so you do the math, thats about half the price for an eighth for the best shit in the world, and like a third for some green better than you can find in the us, but their "cheap" shit.

thats how the prices of weed SHOULD be.

If you like paying 15% in sales tax. And once everythings said and done you end paying the Gov about 50% in taxes from your income(thats including the sales tax). BUT health care is free to everypone, but then again...i guess it aint really free if your taxes are that high...7 months of cold weather anyone??????? I love Toronto, but you cant beat this florida weather.....
