what he said
i was gonna accuse 504 of bein a mouse clicker...but i c he has an axiom...
i dunno why hed say that, i mean all i do is select the midi track, hit record....as easy as it gets
^^ chyea mayn reason dumb nice in sequencin compared to FL... if you wanna change one note in FL, you gotta make a whole new fuckin pattern mayn whut a pain in the ass... plus you gotta switch patterns n shit jus to record so you can put shit in n take it out on the final playthrough...
I'm jus waitin for this to turn into a bitch ass Reason VS FLstudio thread like the rest of em... n Dskillz to come on n be like "BUT 9TH WONDER USES IT"... chyea mayn, you can really compare him to the wescoast cats usin reason, etc... haha
u can change that in piano roll cant u
whoever says the reason sequencer is ass prolly just dont know how to use it well. everything is ass if your not fluent on it. but to say its ass is just stupid to me. its more effiecent than that piano roll step sequencing bullshit. thats by far the dumbest shit ive ever witnessed in sequencing. who the hell wants to keep up with all those patterns and steps and shit. in reason sequencing wat you see is wat you get. all the bars are right in front of you. no switching bullshit. i dont see how it can be ass.
i just dontget it. plz explain how its ass.
bottom line is....any nigga that knows how to use reason will leave fruity loops
the only niggaz thats still usin fruity is the niggaz that simply dont kno no damn better.......
o liv-i-a uh huhhhhhhh
i dont want cha
i dont need ja
o liv-i-a uh huhhhhhhh
gonna kill ya
when i see ya
if it works for that person.. then thats all that matters... i'm not gonna start this VS crap.
you do change it in the piano roll... but you gotta make a whole new pattern, or else it'll change it for the whole song... not like reason where the song is one long sequencer... FL is completely single-loop based, n the loop repeats as many times as you put it in the sequencer... so if you change one note on one part of the song mayn, changes it for the whole song nahmean... so you gotta copy that shit, make a whole new pattern, edit it how you want, n then put it in... rather than re-playing it or even easier, jus deletin that one ass note in reason
it can "work" for anybody
but when ppl are too stubborn/ignorant to upgrade to something that is simply BETTER, its just funny to me.....
but hey, its whateva
ayo urb get at me
the only thing it does really is squash thevolume but thats why theres a normalize function on the sampler channels..... you just dont know how to freak fl.
for real lol
velocity and volume is default @ 75
step ya input game up
also...mastering fx on your master channel changes this dynamic..even a simple EQ.
Convertin or spending 500 dollars for the sake of lack of knowledge is silly
lol....Ive used and use both...and drums have been the last of my worries since the knowledge of EQ and compression..get to know it
its your friend.
boy i know how to freak fl.. all these dudes be talkin bout havin to recopy shit by hand when all u do is light up all the sampling channels in the sampler and on your keyboard press CTRL+C then go to another channel n press CTRL+V.. but reason is a step above fruity.. and the mpc is a step above reason..
I dont think u quite sure/settled about what ur talking about.
But ill let you waste a few years, like most of us have...
its kind like the whole "first love" story...
thats right i didnt think about that it would change it for the entire song because u are chaining ur patterns together o well that sucks
have u ever used a mpc lol. its ap ples and oranges
nah ive only tried it out..
all i'm sayin is.. i love FL's.. b.c its my basic fundemental that i use.. for the sequencer
my boy uses reason.. and its HEAT.. not downing it at all.. but thats not my choice of weapon..
it still comes down to the finished product.. all i'm sayin.
