Don't beli me je watch.
Diz, Daylyt, Pro Aktive .
Too Bad Rex, Shine, Real Deal, Roc, gonna have a better year as a whole .
If Dizaster beats Rex, it won't even matter what the rest of Dot Mob does the rest of the year.
Mook isn't wowing anyone any time soon. Real Deal still needs to actually get another battle on URL. Cortez is gonna pull an upset on Shine. Tay Roc's battle with Magic sounds debatable. Day is good either way.
Regardless, Krack City is going to make their mark this year and whether people love them or hate them, they'll know who they are.
I see the pieces falling in place and I think they are going to blindside people.
The only piece that's fallen into place is you making this thread.
See, this is what I'm talking about. People don't even see it coming.
good call op
Krack City >>> what about AV why he aint aktive haha
I just found this song by Day speaking on what happened to AV.
Seems like he busy making music but left the bars at home.
They need to come together again and form like Voltron.
AV seems like he'd translate well to the battle circuit today.
We used to cypher at the pit and this was 7 yrs back Day was still a huge Lux fan like me or anyone else. AV got bars.
Damn, I actually like that Daylyt song.
Krack City >>>
krack city ?? does daylyt or dizaster EVER rep them ?????? i dont even know ...... i dont think i ever heard dizaster even say that phrase ..........
i know they did their thing way way way back .........
meanwhile kshine walks around in dot mobb lab coats ...........
Yeah that song is heat rocks.
I was blown away by how dope it was when I found it. His rapping is on point, he's got some crazy quotables, and he's spitting some real shit.
If you are saying you 'actually' liked it, and didn't hear it before, then peep more of his music... He's been making good music for a long ass time, it was just hella slept on henxe using parodies to get his name out there which has worked. Check half of i am not a rapper volume 1, and I am spawn to start.
Krack city dvd >
Also if Job & uno know something I don't... I'm excited for the year.
One of the black top battles I watched was ill as fuck and I'm not even sure if it got posted on here...
Well I don't know the full story but like Taz said, they were battling together years ago in The Pit in LA. There are some videos of battles from back then online.
They were talking with Smack last year about having a URL West thing popping off in LA with Diz, Day, and Aktive.
Who knows exactly why they don't rep Krack City more than they do, but I think this year is going to be big for Diz and Day in URL and Active has been building his profile so if they were to rep their crew as a battle rap collective, maybe they could have similar clout to crews like Dot Mob or Team Homi.
Nah, I'm not even trying to suggest that I have inside info, I just have noticed the moves they've made independently as well as the things going on for the LA/CA/WC scene.
The best way to describe it is it's like watching all the Marvel movies where dudes like Iron Man, Hulk, and Thor all wrecking shit on their own but Nick Fury is in the background assembling them into a team of the Earth's mightiest heroes.
You know that all that's left is for them to become the Avengers.
I don't know if they will do anything like that but they can if they wanted to and if they pulled it off right, they'd be as known and as much of a threat as practically any battle rap crew out right now.
I made this thread before Day battled Math and got ass nekked in London. Day is the talk of battle rap now.
People are saying he got mentioned in multiple NOME 3 battles. He is buzzing in URL before even placing a foot on that stage.
Diz was accepted by the crowd at NOME 3 and debatably beat Rex 2-1. Diz has set himself up for some big matches in URL now. Plus despite Rex being his biggest North American battle since Canibus, his title matches were still the highest viewed of any title matches by a significant margin. He remains compelling to people maybe due to (but you can also so in spite of) how controversial he is.
Daylyt and Dizaster are controversial figures, maybe the most controversial in battle rap atm. So far, my prediction is coming to fruition.
Rex recently made a blog after NOME 3 with Aktive (it got taken down) saying that people need to stop ducking Aktive and that if any upper mid tier battler battles Aktive and wins, that he (Rex) will give them a one round battle for free. He was willing to put him on because he thinks he is nice.
This is only the beginning, since I think they have plans in the works to get URL out to Cali and have a bigger goal of revitalizing the battle scene/street scene out in the West. Krack City will be at the forefront of that movement.
