i always been a fan of my native land's music, but never really got deep into it since i didnt live there long

but man, these last couple months i been listening to more and more reggae, and i realize that its fuckin shitting on hip-hop

the thing i love most about reggae is the fuckin content, for instance the biggest hit in jamaica could be some crazy political shit

u could be in a party jamming to crazy political shit, word up

shits so fuckin sick, they dont have the stupid boundaries that u morons help create in hip-hop

capleton would be fuckin mashing it up in jamaican clubs, while talkin about the government

thats how real reggae is, and thats why its shitting on hip-hop as far as quality of the music now

shit hits u on another level that hip-hop doesnt any more

nowadays cats listen to rap just to be amused by it, like yayyyy, this sound is catchy

ill reggae music is catchy as hell, but yet it hits u deeper than that too, shit really gets INSIDE of you

reggae is one of the reasons why the Jamaican culture is the 2nd most influential culture on earth

peep these songs man, my reggae dudes on here undoubtedly have heard these

but these are 3 of my favorite joints nowadays....

^my favorite song in the entire world right now, feeling chiseled deep inside of me every time i listen to it, and listen to the fuckin content man

i know its hard for yall to understand every word, but the main shit anybody can make out, so fuckin sick

even listen to how multis are starting to pop up, fuckin illl

Peep this artist called Matisyahu. He's a native hasidic jewish dude from brooklyn with uplifting and spiritual content in his songs. Music sounds Bob Marley-ish too.

i feel like hip hop is missing alot of creativity. theres these certain set ways you can rap or be a rapper and its bullshit. the best hip hop is created by having fun with it, pushing the limits, and trying to come up with some shit no ones ever heard
