Was great to see us win when all the breaks went to the Cards early on. Normally we'd be deflated, but we battled!

reds will take 2 of 3 against the cubs this week... book it

i am a huge fan of juan pierre and derrek lee is one of my favorite players to watch but lets be honest here:

if the cubs go up against aces like ben sheets, roy oswalt, roy halladay, rich harden, jake peavy, as well as against a lights out closer like derrick turnbow they dont stand a chance with their current rotation

Well who cares if they can't beat Halladay or Harden. They're in the AL so one or two interleague games won't make a difference in any way, whatsoever.

The guys I'm worried about are:

    Sheets
    Oswalt

    That's it.

And yes, the Reds are bigger nemesis' than STL over the past 3 years. They play us extremely tough. Especially Z and Wood. Same with the Brewers.

And you talk about their rotation. Wood will be back in 2 weeks and Prior and Wade Miller will be back in mid-may, if not a lil earlier.

    Tell me a rotation of:

    Z
    Prior
    Wood
    Maddux
    Miller

    Wouldn't compete all year.

i felt bad that dude had his first start against such a powerful line up ..

.. considering he faced swinger after swinger .. he faired well

i love the cubs .. hope to fly out there in july for a game

would be a dream come true - serious.

but as for the thread starting bet .. i wouldnt be so quick to say the cardinals can 't sweep the cubs. EXPECIALLY wouldnt place a 100$ wager on it. wooooooooosaaa

    Chap.

    I didn't say they can't, I said they won't.

And people are too scared to take up the bet.
