My dude thinks Usher stole the show from Omarion and that he was a bad choice for a collaborator because of it.

    I disagree...
I think a great collaboration is based on chemistry (which they have) and a stellar performance from the artist sitting in. It's usually a comparable or better performance that makes a song great.

^^ I agree with your boy. Everytime I hear that remix on the radio, I can't help but to laugh to myself. Omarion seriously got outshined like hell on this remix. It actually made me wish that it was Usher that got the beat/song instead of Omarion so I can hear an Usher version of the song.

There is no chemistry there, just a veteran schoolin a young'n.

I think only people with a bias would say something like that. It's not a vocalists song. It doesn't require much, and neither showed much. They just did it like it should've been done.
It's not much different from the original though. The way people acted like it was so fire to only be slightly different kind threw me off.

A drastic difference in the overall feel of the song would've turned me off.

Well, you know....REMIX usually means something. Puff Daddy ruined the remix.

    True indeed.

    It means "another mix".
That's more studio jargon than anything else.

I don't need a new feel entirely. Just a nice new wrinkle works for me.

Allow me to be the first to say I hate every version of that song. Seeing as how they sing about as good as dogs yelling at 2 in the damn morning. I really hate the state of R&B right now.

R&B is the worse it's ever been in right now. It is mediocre at best right now.

I can listen to Tank, Amerie, Bobby Valentino, Ne-yo, and Joss Stone.
You can have Lloyd and his non singin ass, though.
