But it makes me bring up a point: Why don't singers these days do more covers, and actually have them on their albums. Back in the 60's-70's that was extremely commonplace, sometimes you'd have even 2-3 covers on an album. It beats them 2-3 songs being shitty originals, why not cover existing songs that are good? OK so you see less money because the song isn't yours, I'm sure you would see more money in album sales. Not only that but you ultimately bring in more fans because you have people who are a fan of artist B listening to your rendition of their song. Some obviously won't like it, but some will. I just don't understand where people's business sense is sometimes, SMH.
