    proud to be a woman.

    :))

but is this arguement getting carried away?

The advancement of struggles for equality have most recently seen the greatest inception for same sex rights?

    [rwa]

I guess there should be a struggle for being a heterosexual?

    [chicken]

    make up your mind...

the point of equality struggles is to eliminate barriers that cause preferencial treatments.

why is the realms so against women's movement?

Like in the justice system that allows female predators and murderers to get away virtually scott-free?

If there was no resistance, it wouldn't be a struggle... but many "women's" movements don't push for equality... they push for preferential treatment and the demonization of men... Id-X, however, would argue that those aren't true feminists.

Like why doesn't the NCAA publish the weights of female athletes? You'll find the answer below:

    yay patriarchy!

it would depend on you you define "preferential treatment".

i'm for preferential treatment and I consider myself a feminist

as far as the demonization of men...yeah...doesn't fall in line with contemporary feminist thought

alot of people are against the "women's movement" because it is an attack on alot of our culture.

people really don't like having thier way of life, society, and culture fucked with.

i'm for equal treatment for women, but adamantly against feminism.

equal treatment? then feminism has completely failed..since women are still belittled . on the flipside, ive pointed out various reasons as to why women DONT WANT equal treatment at all... thats for sure. women dont wanna be forced to undergo military examations and training. my problem with feminsm and equality is, feminists seek equality in fields that favor them, like education or work..but when it comes to equality on things that burden manhood, they want to keep enjoying the privileges of a woman. its as hypocritical as it gets.

feminism movement is ongoing. it has won many battles along the way, but have many more to fight.

and as i've said before...it isn't women keeping other women from the front lines.

you're little tirade about women being allowed "equal access" to CEO's is the same line of thinking that keeps women who WANT to be on the front lines from being able to do so. it is typically MEN who don't want to give women that access.

    nothing will be won
..you will lose sooner or later.
yes and i guarantee you 95% of women dont want to go that way or arent willing to sacrifice themselves to go that route. if they want to, then power to them. but dont even dare to ask for special treatment or decreased performance requirements..on a side note you shouldnt bully your brain too much with grown folks talk.

I'm sick of being told how unfair males are.
It's not completely true. If you put yourself out their
like a respectable intelligent women, NOONE, will
treat you subpar. this goes for men as well.

That comment is why males don't like feminism.
The truth is, Patriarchy would favor MEN over WOMEN.
that isn't the case here. WOW!

You just proved it does though. You're a hypocrite.
you're line of thinking on patriarchy is influenced by Andrea Dworkin's:
Under patriarchy, every woman's son is her potential betrayer and also the inevitable rapist or exploiter of another woman.

You must drop the nonsense about Andrea dworkin's having no influence on contemporary feminist.

meanwhile...you continue to think (and likely act upon) the idea that they're "too emotional" or "too weak" to hold these positions anyway.

    at of sheer curiosity...

would YOU hire a woman to be a CEO of a company you owned?

would YOU vote for a female president?

why not...if she deserved it. see i dont live out the doubled standarts feminists do..i argue with reason that most contenders for a CEO rank will be male, traditionally..because more males try hard enough to get there..its a fact of life. now if the overall best choice for the job happens to be a woman, be it a president or CEO, sure i would vote her in.
