Cecil Peoples is appointed by the commission, he has nothing to do with the UFC.

Same reason we have bums like Mazagatti reffing.

I have to wonder if Peoples was kicked upstairs.

Either way, the UFC is getting far too much flack about this decision. They didn't make it.

yeah, it's not the ufc despite what toker would want you to believe. pride had terrible judging as well from time to time.

The judges are usually okay until a fight is competitive.

MMA needs its own judges.

Yeah, but the Yakuza fixed fights, so I don't necessarily know if it was "terrible" judging or a blatant fix.
