People are actually bitching about the new "survivor" track? The shit is awesome. How the hell can anyone hate on this for a potential track off the new album and just a song for the new COD?

And then some of you hate relapse cuz of the content (even though its super lyrical, and sslpish) then people hate on recovery (even though the content is great, the beats are amazing, and its very tesish). Then factor in bad meets evil (which is basically the epitome of a dope hip hop album that has a commercial sound and is straight lyrics) Finally all the random singles and gust appearances in the past 3 years.
I just don't understand how people are saying he fell off? It makes no fucking sense

The sound of his vocals and delivery since Eminem Show have been tiresome and the agression has been not too nice on the ears, a lot of the rhymestructure has sounded a bit forced too to my liking. Bad Meets Evil was better as it seemed like he wasn't taking it as seriously as his own albums.

It all sounded more smooth, effortless and cooler with his old delivery and flow. And I don't know, but I think he was funnier back then, like the timing on the jokes he made back then were better.

And the lyrics, nowadays sometimes they are cool, but sometimes shit doesn't make no sense at all and it just rhymes. But before it all rhymed perfectly and it had a meaning, whether it was intended to be funny or serious, it made sense if you took away the lyricism. The Em nowadays is like...

"And I'll invite Sarah Palin out to dinner then
Nail her, baby: "say hello to my little friend""

That shit was intended to be funny, but it didn't sound funny. Now old Em was like:

"Got pissed off and ripped Pamela Lee's tits off
And smacked her so hard I knocked her clothes backwards like Kris Kross."

That was not only really funny, but it was also raw.

Now it's all good. I'm a guy who will remind Eminem for the amazing emcee he once was.

he just needs to stop sounding forced whether it's agressive or my life is bad or whatever, he always knows how to ryhme and has dope beats and the new hook is marvelous, just no forced fake agressive rapping

I honestly don't even think he can make an album, official album, that won't be good

Cuz he forgot what made us like him in the first place, and it wasn't because he could rhyme lots of words really fast.

    After Infinite = Masta Ace

He's just shot from the drugs and he's made his money, plus the mainstream game is weak and there's nothing to drive a rapper like him to bring his A game or be better.

How is that bad? He was finding himself, he was emulating. I think that shit it's like paying homage and a compliment when you're starting.

I'll give you infinite and pre infinite, but slim shady years sound nothing like cage. and if you think he sounds like cage, then you dont really listen to cage. he didn't really sound like the outsidaz either other than the fact that they all rapped about crazy shit... Slim shady is slim shady.

all im sayin is, to me, this honestly does sound like some Slim Shady shit

C'mon son. the voices. the content, even the hook is as Slim Shady as it gets

    second verse

i burn muthafuckas til the fuel kicks
watch me fuck them poor crack bitches to death wit broom sticks
sleepin wit chicks, lacin up nicks, gettin lovely
till i'm spaced out roughly like martians playing rugby
see a vigilante, shoot him til his heart stops
and send his eyes to the cops in a box for crime watch

^ read that shit in a Slim Shady voice
i wouldnt even know it wasnt Eminem by reading it, and i own everything Em has ever made

nigga fell off monumentally after 8 mile

as far as Outsidaz, i dont even think thats debatable
Slim Shady didnt exist until he started fuckin with them New Jersey niggas and switched his favorite MC to Redman

Em fell off years ago, his last 2 solo albums were wack. Hes still technically a good rhymer, he lost his style and motivation though and his content is boring as fuck.

MFTB and radiohead were released after ssep, underground shit with skam, and a decent amount of other features with the outs....

@I'M Technical, I agree with you in some ways on your post....I don't think he lost his motivation, I think it has changed though, just as rap has......The last 2 albums were not wack, you know that.....they were wack compared to what most expected from him.....he lost his voice figuratively speaking, and he over complicates his rhymes....plus we all hate that accent he uses

We really debating the Em Cage influence??

Shit is clear as day..it's why Cage dissed him

N Cage was obviously either under Em's skin or on his radar since he acknowledged him early in his career time after time e.g. Role Model..
