basically anybody in the wwe who is on tv a lot.. is making really good money.. EVEN IF THEY'RE JOBBERS

but they have to pay for rental cars, hotels , and food with the money

eugene is probably getting paid 500,000 just to act retarded. that's not counting ppv bonuses

    you're asking about jobbers..

now let me wonder.. how much stone cold and goldberg were making in the 90's

i remember when stone cold was on howard stern he said he was making more than 5 million a year from the wwe

i bet hogan was getting 6-7 million a year from wcw

back to jobbers.. i just came across some stuff the other day.. and it stated that bam bam bigelow was STILL making 40,000 a MONTH from wcw.. while he was sitting at home after the wwe buy out

bam bam was a wcw jobber right? well, to me.

It looks like a lot of money, but I think when it comes down to it, WWE guys are no more rich than your average middle class people. Living on the road is expensive as fuck, so when you're making $150,000 a year, you're not only paying for hotels, food, gas and rental cars with that, you're also paying rent or a mortgage and maybe car payments and insurance too. Also, since contracts aren't anywhere near what they were 5-10 years ago now that there's no competition, I doubt anyone like Eugene is making half a million. The list I posted said he makes about $200,000 and that seems about right. One of the good things if TNA (or anyone else) ever becomes competition to WWE is that the wrestlers will make a lot better money again.

Austin, Rock and Goldberg probably made HUGE money during the wrestling boom just off of merchandise. Especially Austin, since Austin 3:16 shirts where EVERYWHERE at that time. Hogan had a huge guaranteed contract even though he only worked when he wanted and even got to take PPVs off. I'm not sure if he, Hall or Nash got money for the NWO shirts. If they did, they must've made huge money too.

I'm pretty sure their salaries were so low because they didn't join WWE until later in the year. So that's just what they made in a few months. Same with Kid Kash. Trevor Murdoch's is so low because they pay him half in cash and half in pork rinds. I bet they pay Justin Credible like $500 a match, but $10/hour to set up and take down the ring, which is a raise from Target. Plus, he gets tips for carrying RVD's bags at the hotel.

Yeah, he didn't want to work on commission. Justin Credible only works for guaranteed money.

being a midcarder would probably be better

get paid almost as much as the mainevent guy.. to get squashed

they dont have as much pressure on them

    *thought just came to me*

But the midcard guys don't make anywhere near as much, and there's just as much pressure if not more because they could be fired at any time if they're not over enough. The main event guys are pretty much guaranteed a job as long as they don't seriously fuck up and get arrested for something a lot worse than driving with pot.

plus the money isn't guaranteed is it? like the guy gets fired and boom he is off the payroll. Unlike NBA and MLB where you can get released/retire or whatever and still be on the teams payroll...

I think unless they do something to get fired, they pay off the downside for at least part of their contract. That's why they can get away with the no-compete clause when they fire guys. The downside is quite a bit less than they'd make if they actually wrestled though.
