Do you raise the roof in praise or just chill and take it all in?
I've been to church once, it was boring so I never went back..x
I go to church and scream out "Someone kill me cuz the devil's inside of me".
^^ ha ha
I didn't start going to church till I met my husband. His family is very religious. Although he's not as much as his parents. But we go from time to time. Not often at all. I just find it creepy there and it's more the ppl not because it's church. They just scare me and drive me crazy. I dunno [dunno]. We do make it a point to go at Christmas and sometimes Easter tho :/
I haven't gone to church religiously (no pun intended) since I lived at home, about 7 years ago, and didn't have a choice... both sets of parents are (well "were" in my mothers case, she isn't anymore) extremely religious... I mean, at one point we actually lived next door to the church... my mother was a preschool teacher at their elementary school, and her husband was a minister... we were at every damn (I hope I don't go to hell for saying the word "damn" while referring to church [look]) service, convention, and retreat they had. I remember going on trips with the youth groups... that was the funnest part for me.
Anyway, I haven't been to church in about a year... but when I do go, I'm pretty quiet except during the praise & worship (singing) part of the service.
i've never been.
I go every now and then.. i really need to go more often then i do..but for the most part whenever i go home..i try to hit up the church.. while i'm here at school...it's the same every now and then i'll roll with my cousin to church.... and to answer that question.. when i do go.. i generally sit and take it all in..
No I don't go.
I haven't been in probably 10 or 11 years.
I'm not a 'fan' of organized religion. I don't believe you need to go sit in a building every Sunday in order to believe what you believe and live by it.
I don't go to church. I go to Jumah on Fridays.
me too. Friday prayer..since I'm muslim. no church.
every other sunday or two sundays in a row. i might as well go every sunday but i don't..
that's not why you're suppose to go..lol..it's designed to meet and worship with other believers. although some churches are corrupt and treat the place like a club to meet girls and boys.
Asalamalakium to you too.
do you say that to people who have no clue about islam?
Im 17 years old, and I have never attended a church service...been there twice, for a wedding, and a funeral...
I've been going to church for 15 years, and now look at me... I'm half gay.Lol
It doesn't do anything for me. I'm dead tired of it. I got a whole different perspective on it and religion. I'm spent.
Sometimes. It's not like I'm "terrorizing" them if I do say it to em. [pus]
didnt say you were. i just wondered if only the ones who hold the belief of islam are worthy of being greeted in this manner.
It's not for us to judge who is worthy of having peace being upon them. Allah is the only one who can and will make that judgement. However, I wish peace on anyone no matter how evil they may have been to me.
