Im not postive, but probly plug your headphones into the headphone plug in the back of your computer, unplug your speakers...
usin cool edit 2, on track 1... have the beat already layed out... then go to track 2... and click the red button... then record... and while u recording from the mic into track 2.. the beat should be playin in your headphones on track 1...but Im not positive.. jus a guess...

Ye.. I think u gotta actually plug your headphones into your computer back.... cause im assuming your speakers are in your speaker plug in the back of your comp.. so unplug them aight and im guessin plug your headphones directly into your headphone plug in da back of ur comp.. so it just changes from the sound comin out of ur speakers to the headphones... still jus a suggestion aint positive
