I find painting to be very relaxing, whether it's on a canvas with aquarelles, or painting over a wall in a house.

When I first embarked on a new project of remodeling a townhome, one of the walls in the master bedroom was magenta. When the sun was setting the entire room had a pink glow to it because of the color. That color lasted for about 2 days before I decided on getting something else.

The people that owned it before had very poor taste in colors. The kitchen was this funky, puke-like olive green. It is now a sandstone beige, which is a fancy way of saying light yellow.

Have you considered doing any crafted/custom techniques when painting walls? Or ever tried doing any remodeling on your own?

That third picture, wow. That's awesome.

Did not like the second. (color contrast not good.)

The first is ... I don't know, something about it keeps me looking at it.

Color contrast in the first is amazing. I like that even with the blue hues I feel like I'm looking at a black and white old time picture.

    The second is my favorite.

I'm not a fan of blade painting but orange, red, a yellow have always been some of my favorite colors together. :)

my ex-used to paint just like you.. sorta had a graf feel too it at times.. any who...

i used to paint apartment's for a career.. and ended up doing custom interior homes... my best advice is look up youtube for how to videos or examples .. crown molding is easy to put up and can be inexpensive if u do it ur self..

As much as youtube is useful at times, it proves utterly useless for me.

that's only because you don't have the eye to look at something and imagine the interior design from seeing the out side. or something.. basically u don't have the eye to do it in the first place.. all i need to see is before's and after's and i basically can figure it out.

    Really?

    Are you sure?

    Don't have the "eye"?

LP, I really hope you're trolling right now.

Out of curiousity, based on what exactly are you making your assumptions?

Only one wall? Lots of landlords usually don't allow any modifications to their assets, so, I guess white it is...:funny:

i suggested people get idea's from youtube on what they could do to renovate their house.

you claimed my claim was not worthy of ur approval bc u claim that youtube isn't helpful

but there has been plenty of job's i've dont where i looked up on youtube how to build a wooden retaining wall. how to build a drain in your yard to prevent flooding.. how to put crown molding on the inside of ur house..

im just sayin' if u can't utilize youtube on ur various home improvement task's ur a retarded..

Youtube isn't useful when rules, codes and construction standards have to be met, even when renovations are concerned. How to paint a wall, sure, anything else, no.
