seriously, anyone who thinks jay z is ANYWHERE NEAR the greatest rapper of all time, is crazy

his fuckin lyrics are trash, his vocals are annoying, his flow is mainstream

Cmon now, how can u say he's better than em in his prime, canibus, any body even semi credible

JAY Z sucks, how is he good? seriously, he hasnt ever fuckin done a good line, i dont know why you think hes so good at battling, but he sucks
i mean comon, this guy is wack

    Jay Z

after you take away production, all the bullshit longevity talk, the aura of the Rocafella label, the respect he's gained AFTER Pac and Biggie died

and you just listen to a Jay acapella..

    he's okay

do that same test to any rapper and I GUARANTEE you'll find a better rapper

Ready To Die is better then Any album jay-z has ever made simple and plain

and Biggie made it in 1994...that album is one of the best if not the best album in hiphop history.... not to mention he coined the phrase "your nobody till somebody kills you"

which is quoted way to much now, he was just amazing, he has a freestyle he did its on the Lyrcist Loungue volume 2 CD, first track in 1992 WHICH IS FUCKING ILL

    biggie = GOAT hands down....

"Suicidal Thoughts" by biggie, Jay has never made a track that ill EVER

not to mention Juicy being probably the greatest song in hiphop history

i don't even like biggie that much and "ready to die" is just a sick fucking album.

although i do think reasonable doubt is right up there.

but if i had to take my fav tracks from both against each other and decide ..

"feelin it" vs "everyday struggle" - big would win.

ok? big is the better story teller?..big deal

    i prefer music not stories...maybe u dont?

simple reason i rule out biggie as being better

you list all his tracks on paper..almost all of them are thug...understandbly so becuz he was a thug..went out like a thug

but i cant listen to thug stuff all album long....i need a little variety

Jay tells stories about his life, he typically doesnt just make them up.....so it dont come off like story telling all the time when it is.
But whos fuckin with friend of foe?

soon youll understand - sick storytelling
and the one after that about his dad.

he's a good topical writer, he just doesn't feel the need to prove it. but he obviously can do it.
