just learned nothing about islam. read that the ascension of muhammed to heaven is called the mi'raj.

c'mon now. mi'raj. pronounced the same as mirage. can't be coincidence.

Islam is so evil, read this quote from Quran: But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them--bring them here and kill them in front of me.

mi'raj in arabic means ascension, the french word mirage means "to look at, to wonder, to admire".

there's alot of debates even within the islamic community on whether it was a spiritual or physical journey.

i personally don't let it get to me, no point debating about furniture when your house is burning down.

i negged you because i thought you were serious here, but i sense sarcasm.

that quote is not from the qur'an, it's from luke 19:27, that's not the qur'an, for you ignorants.

even if the west adopted the islamic banking system, it would help.

we call it a caliphate, the west labels it a call of hate.

i see what you did there, and i salute you for it.

even if you didn't mean it.

but may i ask, how did you stumble upon this section of the prophet muhammad's life?

history major. doing a brief overview of Abrahamic religions.

one thing I don't understand though, is why the muslims won't let anyone else near the ka'aba (forgot how it's spelled). the black stone? it was supposedly built by Abraham, which should leave it open to Christians, jews and muslims. sup?

i know i fucked up, and i apologise.

no, indians are mostly hindus, they speak a different language.

you yourself admitted to not knowing shit about culture, raj means prince, mi'raj is arabic and you're shit.

i think it's just to keep it holy, they have every right to do that. keep it pure. chea.

christians worship the statue of jesus, we don't have statues, so idolatry is not allowed.

and jews are too kuniving so it's a smart move on the saudi part to keep it that way, jokes niggas.

but i'll read into it, i'm sure it wasn't like this during the life of the prophet muhammad, i'll get back to you.

the question to ask is why aren't the muslims allowed to pray in the mosque of al-aqsa in jerusalem?

Christians don't worship a statue of jesus...there are no statues of jesus that I know of. Christians pray to jesus because you are supposed to go through him to get to god. catholics pray to mary. jews pray to god, I think.

Muhammad didn't like the exploitation of the ka'aba, so I would think anyone was allowed if it were up to him.

He is inferring that, rather than a statue of Jesus, idolatry still exists within Catholicism.

What people don't seem to understand is that the statue is just the physical representation of what is being worship. You don't worship the cross, you worship what it represents.

damnit keep. I understood what the fuck he was trying to say, just as he was trying to bait me into saying some stupid comment defending rosary beads.

the second half of your statement is true, though. it's just a reminder like those stupid fuckin WWJD bracelets, or like a Buddhist's beads.

i understand where you're coming from, i know alot of christians who talk directly to god.

don't know if they get any good reception though, my wifi to god is on 0 bars.

this is a fair observation, and in addition to my private messages i sent, i'll say it again - i will read into this.

trying to find a hadith during the life of the prophet muhammad, to see what he said/did about it.

but i think you're right in that it if it were up to him, it wouldn't really matter, he was a mercy.

now the saudi royal fucking kingdom make the rules so i don't know, let me get back to you.
