This telethon for the Jimmy Fund benefits the Dana Farber cancer institute in Boston and goes a long way towards the research and hopeful eventual cure to cancer as well as providing a heart warming help to children with all types of cancer. It is impossible not to feel some empathy for this cause. If you would like to donate even 1 cent, 1 dollar, anything, even just your time as a volunteer, please call...

mods this is a good cause, and if anyone would like to sticky this for 24 hours out of the goodness of their hearts, please do so.

if you read the post and go to the website, a large portion goes to helping children patients and their families.

cant even do this thread without negativity. unreal.

Whoa, dude. I don't want to be rude, but c'mon, that's rubbish.

I'll donate, once I reach the black. Until then I'll try to participate in the bike rides.

they're saying they can transplant someone's head onto another person's body. they can give you an entirely new face. they can tell every characteristic of your child before it's born so you know if it will be handicapped, blue eyes, etc. etc., but they haven't found a cure for cancer? c'mon now. you've said it's all in the medicine yourself, so don't act like a bigger idiot than normal on this one.

they won't cure it unless a rogue doctor does it.
