Wha wha whaaaaaa.
No. see last post.
I'm about 87% sure it's wool.
Just like the minds of Theists.
This is somewhat correct. its the life of the body is in the blood. and it should be self evidnt that if something has to shed blood to atone for sin, how bad must the reality of sin really be.
For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one's life."
^ That right there says we have blood, for the purpose of attonement.
puts it in different perspective.
Not if it didnt have wool to begin with. like the friggin "history of wool" quite clearly says.
Clothing and Dress of Biblical People | eHow.com
Notice "wool" in bold letters. I'm not so sure Abel raised a heard of sheep in order to pick one for sacrifice. What did he do with the rest? Just keep slaving away for no reason?
I'm sticking with wool, or at least the entire hide for clothing purposes.
JA + DG = Wool Warriors.
id say the life is more in breath than blood.
im with demi and JA the answer is most likely for wool.
We welcome you to the fold.
The 4th living person ever is not what thats talking about. sure that says biblical people but the bible wasnt even around until moses wrote the old testiment.
thats what that article means when it says biblical people. And there were already nations of people on the earth during the days of moses.
So people wore fig leaves over their junk?
I doubt it.
yeah animals were just weird monsters they were taking care of for no reason... they were all like "why do i have to work so hard herding these damn wooly monsters?" and old jebediah says "just do it nerd! dont ask questions" and then they kept herding them. for all of time...for no reason at first
The reason was to have communion with God.
what could be more important in life.?
put God first an all things will be added unto you.
its a matter of priority.
The sacred text tells us that, after they had sinned, Adam and Eve tried to cover themselves with fig leaves; but God “made clothes out of skins for the man and his wife, and they put them on.” (Gen. 3, 21)
this had a two fold purpose. one it covered their naked bodies
and two an animal was killed to cover the sin of adam and eve.
Sacrifice covered sin from the sight of God temporarily.
