lol u gotta b fuckin kiddin mi
"i called out lord help mi, and instantly the pain left his body"
"lord i command u to heal this small intestine"
lol yes BP ur right this is undeniable prove :hammer:
this is just a story BP. amazing? yes very. now lemme explain the truth:
He had nine months of pain and surgery which healed him. he didnt jump up healed bcuz he prayed. THAT WOULD BE A MIRACLE. this amazing experience of floating above body and so and so is the theory called NDE (near death experience)
i think that what he "sees" and "hears" are due to the brain trying to make sense of this sensory information. we dont see with out eyes our brain is tellin our eyes what to see. this is why hallucinations happen to people with fucked up brains. and the best theory of why we have strange dreams. scientist believe that an overload of information in our brains cause this "bright light" and give the sensation of going down a dark tunnel. the trauma combined with lack of oxygen causes the feeling of floating over ur body
Marketing it through CBN was probably a good way to go if that's his plan. Their audience is looking to b enthralled by stories just like this as much as humanly possible... arguably even more than that.
Not only does he have a book.
"The Chadwick Foundation is an officially approved 501 [c] Non-profit Foundation. God is working mightily through this Foundation. At this point in time, we are operating La Clinica Chad, which serves as a treatment facility to the poor and broken and is fully staffed by Christ-believing medical personnel, located in the heart of Medellin, Columbia."

So what do they do at La Clinica Chad? Do they just pray their patient's illnesses away? OR is that just added in addition to the actrual medical treatment that is in no way dependent on prayer?
I'm all for humanitarian efforts. I'm not particularly offended by prayer. It is interesting though that his story in no way lacks the "coincidental" life path.
That animal! Helping the poor? Who the fuck does he think he is. And in columbia no less? Its prolly a front for a cocain distribition, gotta be.
he didnt say anything about a tunnel he said he was looking down on his body
Told u what the guy he worked with was saying as he lied there
He said he saw angels holding his body together not a bright light.
However u guys are just skipping past the vital information
5 arteries severed - they showed the documentation saying that does not happen
Nor should he havr lived to make it to the hospital they dont do shit in ambulances or life flights and even if they did he shouldnt have made it to the life flight let alone the emergency room
Also 20 feet of his intestines were crushed along his vertabre, wait hes walking too huh.
Anyways did he say they replaced his intestine? No? He must be getting fed thru a tube then.wait hes not? What gives.
you're ignoring the one really vital detail. he only survived with the help of medical professionals and months of extensive surgery. why was that even necessary? was god's glory not enough to heal him?
I kno he didn't say anything about a tunnel I was giving examples. The angels were already explained earlier (hallucinations due to brain trauma) as far as his recovery I told you it is amazing. But you are also overlooking the nine months of surgery.
he said it partially himself. That at that moment he couldve died if he wanted to it wouldve been much easier but hr ignored the voice telling him to and there u have it
The same ones that believed they couldnt do it right. An God doesnt work thru medicine either ignor that
yep. the same flawed, imperfect humans who received years of medical training but are still capable of making miscalculations or being wrong. how silly that god would need the help of such people to do his work.
Ya youre right God would never use people to do his will. Blah.
The emphasis is on questioning the story you linked, not the organization or the ethics of helping people. The point is that he is running a clearly faith-based medical clinic staffed with specifically Christian personnel. That doesn't get you pondering about the integrity of the story in the video just a tad?
It is less immoral to tell the 'lie' that God miraculously heals patients in order to generate the funds to help treat the poor than it is to use the 'lie' that patients were miraculously healed by God in order to convince people that God heals people miraculously.
What about the people who refuse medical treatment because they believe in God's healing? What about the people who neglect their children in this way, and then their children end up dead because God did no healing for them? This HAS happened.
Unfortunately in both cases of using the lie, the exact same result can occur. At least with the former case, it can possibly do more good than harm.
was that before or after
They are wrong. The bible never says to forego medicine or medical treatment and only use faith. Ur supposed to use faith in action which in this case would be faith and treatment.
Faith Without Works Is Dead 14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
