all of you idiots that dont understand what it means probably break your ankle when you step on a flower. soft mah fuckas aint about that life
damn, I feel bad for not listening to my sister when she was trying to teach me how to use photoshop
Cal won the battle, Lux is bodying the war.
Calicoe didn't win anything other than the first round. Lux is killing the battle, the war and the tee game.
Negged and put on ignore.
You can't be serious.
He's saying it in the middle of his rounds in the middle of a rap battle.
What the fuck do you think it means.
Context clues anybody?
So you mean to tell me if Floyd Mayweather is counter punching some other boxer and in between each exchange he's yelling "You Gon Get this Work"; you wouldn't have any idea what he meant; despite other slang uses of the word "Work"?
I swear some of ya'll are too smart for your own good, that you overcomplicate things that are simplistic.
I can't speak for this guy, but the mini conversation we were having earlier was about what "work" generally meant when said, previous to this battle. Anyone saying they don't know what Lux meant when he said it is most likely trolling.
Not a neg!
This is the most entertaining thread I've read in a long time.
Also....SMACK just won.
Lux is being seen in memes and gifs in places and forums and don't even really watch battle rap like that.
Holy fuck. I clicked this thread and I see all of this. I shat myself. Google Chrome was extra zoomed in.
This^...were people really confused when he was saying this? like "is he offering him a job?" or something. Given that i dont use the term "work" the way Lux does on a daily basis. I just took "He gon get this work" as "He's gon take this beating" or something to that effect.
THE LOADED LUX LEGACY: BATTLE RAP WARRIOR
Last month URL/Smack put on a battle for the ages. Summer Madness 2 brought out legends of the genre like, Serius Jones, Murda Mook, Iron Solomon and more, but the most talked about match since the video dropped last week is the battle between Harlem's OG Loaded Lux vs. Detroit's Calicoe. While the battle was heavily anticipated and drew the fan out of the likes of Diddy, Busta Rhymes and Q-Tip in attendance, the real star was Lux's third verse, which is being labeled as one of the best that the underground scene has witnessed in some time. Lux decked out in a three piece suit, sermon like swag complete with a coffin and grieving widows for his challenger, put on a performance for the ages while breaking down Calicoe's gangster life BMF crew ties.
What's more is the fact that Lux has coined some soon to be classic lingo with his "Beloved!" "Look At Me King!" and the ever demanding, "He Gon' Get This Work!" All in all, Loaded Lux is buzzing right now, long time coming if you've seen his work on this battle rap circuit. Yet, his road to the forefront of the game hasn't been without putting in that work. Check some of his rhymes against various challengers and you decide if he's nice with it....look at that King!

work is slang for really bad weed (around here), because its not great for smoking, but it is great for making money, hence why they call it work, how would it make sense the other way?
I actually think this phrase is stupid and don't really see the appeal in it.
(I actually don't know what it means, so maybe I'm pissed that i'm missing out on all the fun)
Separate names with a comma.
