Have you tried this burning ps2 games theory?

I keep seeing tutorials all over mirc about burning ps2 games...is this shit legit?

My friend is a huge nerd and has a shitload of burnt games. But he also has an adapted ps2 to play them. Dont know whats different about it. Dont even know if you need it. I DONT KNOW.

Anyways, you need a special PS2. You gotta install some chip or something.

you need a MOd Chip to play Burned disks and imports...

you need a modded playstation... but yes.... then you can played burnt games.. you can do the same with xbox too... pz.

right thats what i was wondering. I know about the mod chip, but these directions dont say anything about a mod. You guys want the directions?

thye prolly just expect people to know it....caue i used to read stuff about burning games too....that never said shit about the MOD chip....i did'nt find out till later about those...

Start Nero - Burning Rom (4.0.0.5 or higher).
From the action-bar choose File and select CD-Copy.
Use the following settings (all other settings should be left default):
Image Tab
Image file Enter a Image filename
Copy options Tab
On the fly DeSelect
Drive with source CD... Select Source CD-Reader
Read Speed 1x (150 kB/s)
Read options Tab
Number of retries before read error 10
Read media catalog number and ISCR Select
Ignore illegal TOC Type Select
Unreadable data Continue copying
Data mode 1 - Force raw reading
- If it can be changed or it is not ghosted Select
Data mode 1 - On errors... write uncorrected
Data mode 2 - Force raw reading Select
Data mode 2 - On errors... write uncorrected
Read audio data with sub channel Select
Use Jitter correction Select (for older Readers)
Ignore read errors Select
Burn Tab
Write Speed 1x (150 KB/s)



When ready click Copy CD to start the copy process.

u don't have to have a mod chip .......... my freind burns ps2 games all the time from blockbuster

he uses a boot disc called "Swapmajik" ....... which i think cost about 40$

you insert the boot disc , then you use this key to pull the tray out ......then insert the game

to play online gaming you have to have a mod chip of some sourt but i think this is the easiest way to go

Get a mod chip, u can get one for $15, then download a program called "grab-it" off the internet, search google for it. Then just search for whatever games you want on it, download them to a folder*...put a blank cd in and burn it...thats what i do, i have 392874523457 burnt games.

The other technique u might try for burnt games if u dont wanna buy a mod chip, is break a toothpick in half and put it inbetween the lil thing that makes the disk spin. didnt work for me but i know people it has worked for.
