  1. 1995 Acura Integra GSR

    All I gotta say is holy shit. This car is fucin' fast and it comes with an addictive V-TEC motor! Drove my boyz GSR when I was down in Hartford...when the V-TEC kicks in it literaly pushes you back in your seat! All he's got for mods are a full exhaust from DC SPORTS and he's pushing around 200 ponies.

    (question: is the DOHC V-TEC motor the B18 series? I know trifle would know the order of performance Honda engines up to the Honda 2000...) I'd appriciate an answer...

    LMAO.. first playboi, your boy is NOWHERE near 200hp. Make it about a 150.

    Second Polar's car is the only integra that can push 200hp with a single mod.

    Third, if you think this car is fast then I wonder what you think of a H22 engine.

    Oops I meant 150 to the wheels, and didn't realize it was 170 to the crank, always thought 160 for some reason... oh well, civic/integ engines pwn me

    Oh well that means about 178 to the crank for a catback exhaust

    Even with all those mods, he is not at 200hp. I have a friend with a GS-R and has plenty of bolt-on's and still his car is not fast. My god kid, what do you drive? LOL


    Wait a min you have a 89 civic from the other post I just saw. Also, with almost the exact same mods, minus the sports tip :)

    Yeah 108, I believe you just got owned right there. The only way your going to squeeze 200HP to the wheels of an NA GS-R is with some serious internal work and a good tuner. Other than that you're looking at some FI. Even a good (Mugen, Spoon, etc..) I/H/E setup will maybe give you 10-15HP to the wheels tops.

  10. For those who forgot to read my posts, I decided to stay away from the Civic Hatchback. That is not what I'm driving right now. And intake has to do with airflow, which is basicly increased through an exhaust which is why I call it a full exhaust for (intake, headers, catback etc.) Tigre takes things waaaaay 2 far with these essays. I suggest some angermanegment and investment in some prozac...

    I dont get the rage of this 4 banger craize .......dont get me wrong I've seen some heavily moded cars that whur pretty fast but.....

    as far as compacts goe I'd rather sqeuze a gm super charged 3800 series II v6 into say a grand pre coop with a few mods like new super charger pulley an intercooler or water injection setup and an open exhaust and easily get close to or over 250-265hp and sill have close to or better than stock gass milage.... not to mentoin they cost would be alot lest than gettin say a honda up to that level

    So what you want is a stock Grand Prix GTP? Because last I checked Pontiac made 2 door Grand Prix's from 97-02 with supercharged 3800's making 240HP. Oh, and I dont think GP's count as compacts.

    The reason people are building all these 4 bangers is because they CAN be made fast. The same reason the muscle car craze started in the 60's. Cheap, abundant parts and cars. Like it or not, this whole sport compact thing is the exact same thing.

    My buddy in vegas has a 99' GSR, pretty sweet ride.. it gets up there for a stock 4 banger... engine internals have good turbo response too.. I'd take it over and ITR... fuck paying 2 grand more for an extra 20 horses..

    Well, I've owned both (ITR & GS-R), and trust me 25 extra HP is not all you get with the ITR.

    Polar, how ridiculous is the resale value on a Type R. Went to a dealership they had a yellow R with 45k on the odometer that was going for 25g's... HOW THE FUCK IS THAT POSSIBLE.

    Jesus, I should of bought a R, just to have a car that seems to never drop resalve value, and actually increases in time...how the fuck does that happen?

    Oh yeah, just like Polar said, the ITR gets you more than the extra HP. There is one in town owning his section in the stock fwd Auto-x scene.
