i think they should look at something besides singles for 'best song' categories. and have separate categories for best singles

i dont really care who wins.

It is though tbh, too many talented people are wasting thier time trying to conform and we barely get any original music anywhere near the charts as the record labels arent about talent. Theres obviously still good music out there but not nearly as much as thier used to be. It doesnt pay to be original or even talented anymore. All you need is the right look and sound and the record labels will promote any old trash.

If you compare music as a whole to 10-15 years ago its embarrassing how far it has declined. Whos making timeless music right now and being successful with it? I cant think of 1 artist.

Na, kendrick has some talent no doubt but im not feeling his style and his delivery is just a bad version of andre 3k and hes not even one of my favourites. Id probably of given him more of a chance if he wasnt sold as some kind of messiah but in reality he only stands out because hes up against wale, drake and ross etc.

Dead at being a macklemore fan.

Bro it really does pay to be original...record labels are more about market value talent these days and the artists who get deals and label support, are way more rare then they once were....The right look is important cause in a business that works with the eyes of the public on it, if you aren't being talked about, you are not worth being talked about....This has shown up prominently over the years and genres, its just that business is more cutthroat these days....
