    Example Above

I just want to know how to get this effect, and what process do i need to do it. Or is it just possible with a certian program? I'm not sure what kinda effect it is, but to me it looks more airbrushed then anything.

it's pretty simple... duplicate the image layer, use a gaussian blur on it and then a filter effect... drop the opacity to around 60% or so too... you might also need to use the patch tool for blemishes in given areas... also, you could duplicate the image and go filter>noise>dust and scratches and again, use filter effects on that and drop the opacity... just play around with it and you should get the effect you're looking for.

oh yea, and of cours it's all done in Photoshop!

You need to also remember to NOT do that over the eyes, teeth, hair, etc. the stuff you DON'T want smoothed out. That's a whole other tutorial.
