It was only a matter of time before the will of a free spirit who's like a restless Indian guiding me through life, leading me into the world of aviation.

Had a wish of becoming a pilot for a few years now, so it's time to do something about it. Might take a while to get everything done ~ formal, theoretical and practical tests to obtain a pilot's license. Then it'll be onto the 2nd phase ~ construction and placement of own landing runway with all other accompanying things that I'll need for fully autonomous and independent flying.

New dimension of freedom to be created.

It would be more painful if it was falling into the sea.

    Wait, this isn't helping..:scared:

For the most part, planes are safe ~ that is if maintained and serviced properly.

yeah plummeting into the ocean and then sinking and getting crushed by the pressure before death does not sound like much fun

but neither does crashing into a mountain an getting your legs sheared off and then getting eaten alive by jungle bugs before they ever find the planes wreckage

but personally i love flying and cant wait till one day when i buy an unltralight or gyro plane/coptor and go ripping around my acreage

ill dive bomb unwanted visitors with balloons of rotten egg slop

Yeah, staying clear of mountains will be kind of tricky for me ~ this country's plagued by them, and even the only national airport is boxed between those on all sides.

Not to mention one "Alive" movie was more than enough ~ the one where Uruguayan rugby team crashed in a blizzard somewhere in the Andes. And cannibalism broke out.

:dead: @ dive bombing visitors....sounds like a sweet greeting plan.

One of my dreams is to be aboard a water bomber while in service. That. Would. Be. So. Cool.

ive seen a lot of them in action, it is neat.

people think the front opens up and they scoop up a load of water, but what really happens is they lower a "snorkle" and the speed and pressure shoots the water up into the tank... I never knew that till i saw it and always figured the front opened up somehow

anyways speaking of that theres some pretty scary airports out there that would feel like an accomplishment to actually land

    Best. Dream. Ever.

If you ever do decide to give it a go, I'm giving you a friendly push.

And yes, I'll be long gone before you'll touch the ground and wish to end my life.

The good thing with flying planes is, that one starts with the smallest plane and then works their way up to bigger ones (as opposed to having a driving license where you can go from a VW Beetle to a Bugatti without anyone bugging you about it, or questioning your driving skills). In order to actually get a feel for things, landing included. It's always amazing to see how effortlessly some pilots make it look though ~ when landing in less than appealing airports and circumstances.

At least you'd talk to me in a certain, although a tad loud tone of voice. Unlike my aunt. For a long time she was almost plagued by bungee jumping enthusiasm, so my uncle caved in to her wish. When it was actual time for her to jump, she felt a bit scared. Who knew giving a person a little push could create so much havoc afterwards.

Unrelated to you Gal but i always thought that sex while skydiving would be the ultimate thrill. I've heard stories about the possibilities but only imagine that the bliss and beauty of free falling would intensify the experience of sex.

    Still baby step :funny:

    A skydivegams. Oh, Noble..

I keed, I keed...my wifi'll get lowered for my own safety.

Nah, but on a serious note; there would be massive acrobatics involved in order to enjoy on 12,5k - 14.5k feet AGL going approx. 115 mph.

An alternative would be sex whilst being suspended off a cliff/mountain.

A vertical wind tunnel would be the perfect place to discover if Shadow's 'fantasy' is worth the air it's built on.

He's now checking the yellow pages.
