    Penn -300 Sanchez +220
    Mir -200 Kongo +160
    Guida +165 Florian -210
    Jones -260 Hamill + 200
errol zimmerman +260 remmy bonjaski -340

    SeeSon's Preview

    Penn vs Sanchez

While this should be BJ's biggest test in the light weight division to date, I see BJ retaining his light weight crown. Those giving Diego a chance in this one are mainly assuming that his size advantage will be the deciding factor. While Diego may be naturally bigger than Penn, Diego has yet to finish a fight at light weight. This makes one question if he was able to maintain the power he possessed at welter. I think this fight will have a competitive first round as Diego attempts to lay n pray but sometime around round 2 or 3 I expect Diego to get finished.

Why Diego can win: He's explosive and high energy, and if the fight goes into the championship rounds he could wear Penn down and earn a decision.

Why BJ can win: He's better than Diego at every single aspect of the game.

What will happen: BJ stops Diego in round 3.

Jenga posted in that other thread that he will be participating going forward so I won't be giving out his money, but I will try Mac's idea and those eliminated will be given 100 dollars to participate going forward.

I haven't seen one. I only check two sites though, so there could be a line up at one of the smaller betting sites.

That was the line on betus.com when I posted it, so you get the extra 50% if you want to bet on Hammil.

While this isn't the best example to illustrate what I'm about to say I will use it anyway. This is actually my concern with just resetting everyone that loses all of their money. I think what will end up happening is that once reset, people will just constantly bet on underdogs in an attempt to swing for the fences. I do however, expect Guida to win that fight, so its not a problem if its a situation like this, its just a general concern I have.

Yeah, you're right. But a lot of people do that in real life betting as well.

Just a minor kink that needs worked out. Maybe periodic resets and some way to keep track of overall performance. Would give the safe betters and lucky bastards more to look forward to.

i rarely if ever bet favorites and i bet real fights all the time

its not swinging for the fences... its calculated risk

vitor was a big time dog to lindland, i won that... he was a dog to franklin, i won that

you have to estimate what YOU think the odds of the fighter winning the fight are and see how they compare to the gambling odds, and go from there

diaz was a dog to gomi, i won that, he was a dog to frank, i won that

grove just beat rosholt as an under dog , i won that....

i only bet faves when they are close to even money, because in my mind, a 2:1 fave is a 66% chance of a win, supposedly.... there are few fighers i would give that to regardless of who they fought, so even though i bet on a dog, doesnt mean i expect them to win, but i always expect a chance to win when i do bet a dog, at least as good or better than the odds are paying

out of all the matchups in the first rd, i think zimmerman has the best shot of an upset, and i LOVE those odds he is getting

LOL...knew you had to bet on your boy. Bet 1100 though, we are giving people that lose all of their money 100 dollars, so you can max out here if you want.
