Ya must've missed the kicks.
i only saw the 4th and 5th round of bj vs edgar
but from what i saw, frankie had that easily
landed harder shots, and scored takedowns, and bjs face was fucked up lol
how many take downs did bj score prior to rounds 4 and 5?
most significant damage bj did during the entire fight were the shots he landed in i think round two when edgar tried to take him down.
other than that, he was getting the shit beat out of his legs, body, and face.
he landed like 2 kicks, and the rest were checked and countered......c'mon now
oursin knows the least about mma
dont even pay attention to him, he thinks cain velasquez is a lay n pray fighter
Cain.Velasquez.Vs.Cheick.Kongo - ?? - ???? - ????
hey, im gonna let you in on a little secret okay?
when a fighter wrestles his opponent, CONTROLS him, and constantly pushes the pace/pressure and keeps smashing his face in, its called GROUND AND POUND, not lay and pray
yeah, that's ground and pound..lmaoo
Kongo left looking the same as he went in...one of the worst fights of all time
your in the minority bud
see what i mean, you know the least about mma
youre logic and mindset is retarded as fuck
kongo was bleeding from his nose and mouth, just cause he wasnt all lumped up and shit doesnt mean cain was laying and praying, just means his shots werent too damaging
Off the top, I only recall BJ checking one kick. Because I remember thinking "wow, Bj checked a kick."
*waits for eaton to start saying "I told you so! If edgar did that to him, imagine what Diaz would do!"*
ha, haven't seen him around much.
I really think Edgar's speed advantage made the difference here though. Not convinced we'll see Bj losing at lw on a regular basis just yet.
bj didnt decisively lose, end of story
did he lose a regular non-title 3 round fight? yeah
but its always been to take the belt it needs to be DECISIVE
why doesnt shogun have the belt??
Edgar decisively won and Shogun decisively won.
When you're dealing with legit world class fighters, expecting a lopsided fight is kinda silly. Any title match worth its salt should be very competitive. It's like the end fight scene in a good movie - the bad guy almost wins every time. If he didn't, it'd be boring.
What's important is that Edgar came to win just like Shogun did. They went up against invincible guys and made them look human.
Fightmetric sucks, honestly.
fightmetric sucks because it doesnt agree with you
its ok tho
you dont even have to go by their results just look at the official stats lol
Nah, fightmetric sucks because people look at it as the end all be all and it isn't. It's a system of numbers created by humans that poses as the judge.
wanna see something interesting?
nah wait. stop. why is your god better than this one?
I wasn't even pro-fightmetric when it agreed with me on rua-machida.
good chance of a rematch this august
wonder why.. maybe a shogun/machida situation in reverse
