i bet they didnt unblock •••••y
ummm mpc now stands for music production center as of about late last year it was changed.
^They only changed the name to attract more buyers....still the same shit
of its absolutely the same i was supprised to see it change to music from midi as well.
Word the fuck up. Diabolic, you're a really confusing dude man. wtf, you be on some other shit with your "opinions" that you try to pose as fact. I can't really take anything you say seriously or even into consideration, ever. lol
yes.. you can create multisample patches on the mpc...
no u can not load Akai S1000,Roland Or Yamaha Soundbanks in the mpc just the mpc4000.
u guys are dumb not realizing the mpc is just a drum, phrase,Sampler Slap ur self not realizing that
you can create your own multisamples in the mpc1000, mpc2500, mpc4000
First it was Fruity VS Reason....
and now its Mpc VS Asr...
theres still no such thing as a full fledged sampler either it is or it isnt ......... and the mpc is last i check.......... i sampled the voice of your mom then made a multisample out of it for my hit song ................ your a jackass .
but Mpc vs ASR is kinda relevant both have be argued to be the best samplers ever created tho I like the ASR on paper.
then why the hell were u comparin it in the first place?
i aint complaining about shit.
These idiots dont know a full fledge sampler from a Phrase Sampler
im just telling all the people who want a Mpc they can get a better unit for less .
i knew all the lil mpc heads would come in bitching .i would have been one of them too if i never discoverd the ASR-X .
I can say personally, that the sequencer on the asx pro is wack. Everything else though is very good. I would only use it if I had another sequencer. That being said, the mpc's sequencer is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy better than the asr x's but, the sampling engine on the asr is better than the mpc to me.
just ignore this topic Mods Erase it ,
Let all these kids go out and by Mpc's thinking they Pro.
i'll sit back and laughf that i only paid 100 bucks for my ASR-X
Mpc Vs Asr
Sequencer- Mpc Wins best there is hands down!!
Sampler- ASR is way ahead of the mpc .
Sound- ASR Wins nothing beats the warmth and punch of the ASR Line
Pads- depends on the user-mpc has better pads but the piano lay out of the asr- is better because it makes composing with pads godlike.
Fx- ASR Kills the mpc for FX DP2 effects all tweakable
Filters- ASR kills the mpc filter and env.
Tracks Mpc winds with 99 tracks -
Sequences -Tie both 128
Cost ASR-X 100-300 -Mpc 600-2000$
Any way mods go ahead and deleat this thread !!!
it aint worth arguing with people who dont know the diffrence between a Full Sampler/Synth and A Drum Sampler!!
A Real proffesional would use them both together, not that "either or" amatuerish mentality your going on. A Real proffesional also doesn't judge an item based on it's price- they go off whether the intended function performs well.
what OS u got?
my asr-x black has OS 2.62 and the timing is solid,
there aint nothing wrong with the ASR- Sequencer ,what do u find wack about it?
It works just like a mpc
i would still like to see the explanition of drum sampler and full sampler? A sampler takes a sound from a outside source and captures it point blank. What you do with the sample after that is on you but dont tell me mpc only samples drums. Tell that to the MILLIONS who use it to create full tracks. Im not hating on the asr its you who im hating on because you dont know anything about what your talking about. It seems like all you wanted to do was say oh look at me i have a asr , big whoop im not impressed. If this must go on tell please oh please tell me how the sampling in the asr makes it so much better because there both just SAMPLERS! jackass
Haha, I was just gonna say:
Why not sample from the ASR and then move it into the MPC?
Separate names with a comma.
