I'm taking a good look at the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 because I don't need that many inputs/outputs but I heard the Saffire 6 is now USB 2.0. I just need a small cheap interface and I'm getting rid of my Mbox 2 Mini. Basically I would use this just for recording my vocals. I may be using the preamp as well until I buy a better one. Which is the better deal? Is the Saffire worth the extra $50? I'm using a Blue Bluebird microphone running Pro Tools 10 HD on a Windows 7 64bit btw if that matters.

Well I went and ordered the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 so this is no longer needed. However, I currently still have my mbox 2 mini and an art tube mp preamp. I never used the tube preamp over the shitty mbox 2 mini preamp, but I assumed the mbox one was better but it's not. I heard you should replace the tube in the art preamp to get a much better sound. If true, which one should I replace it with? I'm going for a more warm sound.
