FL 6..sounds differrent from 5
its definetly crisper....they may not have rewrote it completely but its been tweaked, i dont seen how the frequencie of the snare would look different because the sound engine was tweaked
listen to the 2 in headphones
sound is the result of frequencies.....why WOULDNT a spectrum be different?
and lol@ ur ears being more accurate than a frequency spectrum.....
hmmm this is interesting I may check this demo out these updates that PLO mentioned sound good I may download when I get home from work
i hate to burst ya'll bubble but I just tried this again and the results are clear:
The Spectral Image and Waveform Shape are identical in the fl 5 file and the fl 6 file
Also, has FL said anything about an improved engine? If not..why do you think they would improve it and not tell anyone? lol
well i hear a difference
and i dont seem to be the only one, and that is including discussing it with others that use
but either way, whats the diff, its just another thing for u to poke at in the end isnt it
you dont use fruity loops, yet your in every fruity loops thread i've seen?, ok i get it u like reason more....its like u got some kinda personal vendetta agains the program, its a SOFTWARE program
give it a rest already
what did it do fuck your gf and take your car
im bout to try it
looks cool so far
that was directed @ urb btw
damn, it does sound different
they dont understand that because the freq's are the same it doesnt mean the output of the frequncies have been made crisper
^Been made crisper? lol. There is no way to change the way something sounds without changing the way it looks when it is imaged. As small as that change may be, it will effect the wave image.
Like I said before I am not a FL user, so maybe within the program there is a difference in sound, but the output wav files I created were EXACTLY the same, down to the smallest sample
I know a different sound when I hear it.
I heard it when I loaded my wavs in CEP, I heard it whn I mixed in cubase.
ANd I hear the differencein 6.
even if the sound engine was redone - which it wasnt - the result would be so miniscule on your ears that you wouldnt be able to determine it anyways
dawg u TRULLY dont understand
all sounds are a RESULT of frequencies........every note, every nuance has its own frequency...its like FINGERPRINT.....change it, the spectrum changes........i'm in school to be an electronics engineer i grad in april....aint nothin about DIGITAL or ANALOG that u gonna correct me on, because its simply not common knowledge
now dont sit there and say the shit sound "crisper" to you....thats simply YOU thinkin it sounds better because u done installed it and u all hype and shit
i bet if u had strep-throat and gave u a bottle fulla placebo's and told u they were antibiotics u would SWEAR u were gettin better...lmao
i'm bettin u dont even kno what a placebo is in the first place
stop tryin to argue wit science...the sound engine is the fuckin same
pay a crackhead 5 bucks to try a crip walk and harlem shake, theyll do that and bust out the hammer dance just to get a fix
Dont matter anyway. I still aint mixin in FL.
I do know what a placebo is it's fake, a mind trick
my point is, it does sound different to me and others who are using it, I'm not "hyped"....how are u even in here telling me it doesnt and u dont even use it, nor have u tried the new one vs the old one?
i havent rendered shit in it, but the playback/preview sound is crisper in 6 then 5
really it doesnt matter in the end
like i said its a software program, you having some vendetta with it, means nothing to me, call it weak all u want its not stopping the people that use it so really what is the point of u argueing over it
it's a dead issuie
whateva dog...yours ears override simple science........
