I've had it on DVD now for a few months (picked it up for $10 @ Wal-Mart) & just got around to watching it. It was OK. Don't see what the big deal about it was. Really wasn't much of a story/plot & it was easy to figure out who was the rat & such. I dunno. I guess it was good for it's time.

I agree I got around to seeing it yesterday after having the DVD for about a month.

I thought it was boring & slow though. Pulp Fiction is BY FAR a much, much, much more superior film to Reservior Dogs

I don't see what the big deal about this movie was either.

I saw it a long time ago when I got it on VHS...watched it about three times maximum.

The story/plot is actually simple...and I don't see how you can't "get it" the first time you watch it...

but anyway, the movie wasn't that special...other than Steve Buscemi and Tim Roth's good acting skills.

i enjoyed the movie a ton, although i don't think it's too hard to "get". it's just a preference thing in terms of enjoying it or not.

and yes, pulp fiction is a better movie.

isn't it funny when people realize they like a shitty movie? Because all they can say is....

    'You just don't get it!"....

the reason it was so big in it's day is because it was one of the first films of it's kind to do the whole time play thing, it was pioneering for that type of film. So if you watch it today theres nothing special about it because you've already seen countless other movies use it's blueprint. Doesnt mean it's bad or good, just that the times have changed.
