Does anyone get Goodz' 1st punchline?

"You got the image of a Bad Boy, but if you play Biggie, you still wouldn't be over C's"

    WTF is he saying?

I mean the crowd started booing him so it's not just me.

umm, yea, that was a choke.. you could hear holla repeating the last bar to himself to try and catch the next line.. as usual though, it happens to everyone.

goodz had some moments but i've still yet to fully grasp why some of these cats get so much credit when they aren't really saying anything.

Many of these guys get called good under the guise of being good rapper's, when in reality-you're right, their bars are some of the most basic unimpressive shit you'll hear.

Black people and fans of the 'street' style are especially guilty of doing this shit

' This guy is good because he has a great delivery and is a good rapper' is something you constantly hear from these apologists.

To them, rapping ability, delivery are at the foremost of their battling standards, mainly because white and non street rappers can match them or even supercede them in the writing department. The residue from this thought pattern is devaluation of good bars and the accepatance that a guy like Goodz, Hitman Holla are ggood despite their blatant deficiencies in the 'bar' department.

The ability to write exceptional patterns, syllable counts, and other things along these lines are also HUGE parts of what makes "good writing"...the content isn't the only thing (meaning WHAT is said)...this doesn't seem to be mentioned all that often.

That said, Goodz and Hitman aren't exactly amazing in this department either, lol.

^ I'm finding your blanket statements concerning black people somewhat troubling however, and they seem to be wildly skewing your opinions.

just goes to show the true respect they have for "battle america"

just wanted that money and were gonna get it regardless of how their lines were

lmao @ seneca no wonder he took so long to release it

i'd beat them both up if thats what i got for my thousands

that being said goodz won and had some good stuff, still even he would say it wasn't close to a goodz performance.

i always liked goodz since the con battle, he may have fairly simple rhymes but he takes good angles and gets in your face about things you lack or things that show you lacking G. i appreciate that over some long drawn out sports reference punchline thats generic as fu.
