kill biil 2 was no fucking w. kill bill 1. style wise this was tareninto;s last good look.

lets put things into a greater perspective.

empire strikes back was the best of the series
when the ninja turtles travelled back in time to japan - this needs to be discussed though because its uncertain in terms of quality and i was a young boy when i saw these things

I liked the story and characters better in 2.
Action was better in 1, though.
Can't beat Bud, Elle and Bill. AND Pai Mei. Come on.
Plus the second part has a lot more meaning.
In part one it was just random killing, mostly.
I'm sure I prob. enjoyed them both equally at the time, but Vol. 2 left a much bigger impression.

And I like the first clerks a little better than the second.

for one thing vol 1 was more in the vein of what the kill bill energies was trying to embody

That is, the uneccessarily and illogically fun violent kung fu revenge. the story moved fast and bumped around from one short film to another. and thus every scene had its own unique swag. these types of films are surpposed[/i] to be like this with the story in the back seat like 20% story - and the rest is artistic ways of killing interesting people.

And vol 2 strayed from this.

    to the point where

it focused on story so much it lost its fun. and i'm not supposed to be like o snap that is profound i'm supposed to be like damn this nikka got his brain sliced. if you understand where i am coming from.

it strayed because it was an homage to the spaghetti western

the violence was meant to quick and sudden following long drawn-out periods of silence/stillness

beatrix vs. elle was the best fight out of both volumes, too

upon first viewing of each film, i was of the mind that vol. 1 > vol. 2. the more i reflect back on it, vol. 2 > vol. 1.

    Kill Bill 1 was ass.

    I enjoyed Ocean's 12 more than it's predecessor.

i concede to those points riz. but honestly my freind with the negativity was kind of negative in his methods of analyzing the teenage mutant ninja turtles because he wanted to intellectualize the

teenage mutant ninja turtles. and this is a way of doing things that cannot possibly win. he must be canadian. but as i typed that i was like im not goina front like the first movie wasnt hot though. he is right the lack of krang or shredder hurt the third one in retrospect. i liked the samurai concept cause around the time i had the samurai version teenage mutant turtles toys.

I actually remember enjoying turtles 3 as a kid.

Even though I don't remember it near as much as the first 2.

Word, I loved part III as a kid and the samarui turtle toys were wicked cool... but it does look bad in retrospect. I bought the first one and still enjoyed it, so..
