Damn that was one bitch i thought was mad over rated.
    Her and Bahamadia.

I thought they were garbage personally.
But then again they came out around the same time i was heavy into Wu, Geto Boys, Onyx, PE...that hard shit.

To this day i'm not even a big Tribe fan. I like that hard shit...nohomo

That Blowout Comb album is the shit. I often wonder what it would've been like if I wasn't 8 years old when that shit came out along with a lot of the other music I could've copped at that time.

yo..your reasoning is exactly why i liked the chicks you despised..they just added that balance...plus the wu bcc onyx gritty era made all of us that loved that sound jaded to anything not that..

I hear you. I was like 11 or 12. Being in Dallas and my peoples were playing NWA, Geto Boys, The Chronic, Early Master P, DOC...wasn't nobody trying to hear no digable planets unless you was on that whole Native Tongue front. Like i said tho, i wasn't a huge Tribe fan. Only cats i like that came from that scene was De La and that's cuz they were a little less jazzy than the others. But it's just me.

I still dont knock their significance to Hip-Hop. They were needed in order to produce cats that i love now.

i own that on vinyl actually..haha..its off her "kollage" album..great album actually..she had beats from premo and ect..the jawn was beastin tho

digable is an aquired taste..its hard for everyone to follow the jazzy skat influenced music they did..even to this day its still an unexplainable sound to an extent. very dope i might add.'

apani b fly is also another verrrry dope female mc
