I'm working on my sample CD tentatively titled Beast Music Blueprint . So far I got my drum section with Loops and One Shots Done plus sound effects now I'm working on some synth loops now. I got about 300 Sounds. I think I'll wrap at 1000.

    Here a small sample kit
    Download

Let me know what you want to hear more of.

I also want to know would you rather hear beats with all the sounds in the CD in action or have the sample kits?

Shit sounds clean to me. If i was you I would make either sample drum loops with the sounds in em...or actual beats. Both would be coo...but beats with the sounds in em would be good promo (if the kit alone wasn't enough lol). ;) I'll definantly cop if the price is right haha.... Need some more quality kits in my collection.

and the loops sound good too btw...I just like to make my own sounds and put my own fx on them that's why. plus unless Im sampling a record I make stuff from scratch that's why. not cuz its a quality issue or anything.

Im gonna have to disagree with everyone.. these sounds are kinda gay. I think out of all the ones in the sample I liked "BMB - Snares 14.wav" And that sounds like a eq'd Dre snare. Other than that I wasnt feelin any of those synths and I wasnt feelin any of hte percussion. I think u better off just having a sample beat CD with the sounds in it.

    Rate: 4 outta 10

I have to agree with the above poster...I have only heard like 4 online drum sets that really stood above the rest as far as originality, sonic character, and bang. Kicks and Snares, Siccaro, Goldbaby, and Croup...those are the only drums I touch thats not chopped from vinyl. Not to say the original posters are bad. But they are right in line with hundred's of other online drum paks. This is positive feedback, you will sell more if you seperate your stuff from the rest and there is a noticeable difference. Right now nothing stands out.

i didnt even listen to the synth loops.

theyre str8 an all..but knowing you and hearing your beats you could do alot better

but i dont expect you to put your best shit out in a drum kit.

i find the best kits are the ones that are most different from the others, in other words something new i cant find in other kits. so i think you should add snares, kicks, claps, percussion, etc.. that i wont find on some other kit. but whether or not, im sure it wont be bad.

the kit is official (drum wise)

I don't know about yall but I get a certain VIBE going when I do my drums...and the melody comes to me off that.

I did a simple clubby drum pattern with these drums and I ended up making a hot ass club/street banger REAL quick.

    to me..this is official.

Phoenix..make somethin with like 20 claps, 20 kicks, 20 snares, and a bunch of single hit percs...and you got a sale from me.

these drums hit and sound clean...that's all I need.

I will be hitting you when you get this finalized

    *salutes*

not too impressed considering I own gb's of drums. Snares and claps were cool. You might want to remove the tempo info and slice markers from your samples. One of the kicks had that. Oh and I just thought of something. Noticed you had some interesting fx on the perc. Maybe do some flanged snares and hollow drums since that's a big sound right now, like in J holiday bed. Would make a good selling point, I think.
