yeah but one could question..........who u changin the game for homey???

    for yourself??

nobody else is really askin for the "game to be changed"

thats a cliche in itself.........the game is constantly changin

niggaz is just selfish.....music is art no doubt

but this is a business........u wanna approach it as an art....do it....do it now

but just accept the fact that it doesnt go down like that in the industry........

but i mean, lets be real....u aint gonna get nowhere thinkin like that

and that aint just music....thats ANY business

thats like u wantin to wear what u wanna wear to work......

follow instructions like u wanna follow instructions....

shit dont work like that homey.......it dont work like that NOWHERE

and i dont kno why ya'll niggaz think the music industry is ANY different.......

its a job just like anything else...and thats how i approach it

u wanna approach it like u expressin yourself.....thats coo homey.....but if the majority aint feelin it....guess what....

    ....exactly.....

I'm not top 10. What is RM's top 10 to me? Real talk.

That's what I'm tryin to figure out.

RM doesn't exist outside this computer. Why would it mean anyhting to I?

That's the difference between leaders and followers. You serve whats out, and when its gone, you're gone. You get a lil' hit, cool. Get what, 6 months out of a track and no one remembers that bull. No substance, no feel. Bullshit track.

I come through. Innovate, and my songs still play 20 years from now.

I dont even care if Im NEVER mentioned on here dog. My Vision doesn't stop at this site. And that's why I make music how I feel and STILL make music to serve the public when its needed... WITH MY OWN STYLE intergrated... AND niggas still FEEL IT. Maybe not on this site, but every artist I've met up with in the past 3 -4 months, and every lawyer has been feeling my style and where i'm taking my music.. and they want to work with my team.. Know why?

    Cuz I'm Meta Maestro.

Respect my name adn remember it.

I agree with you maestro. This industry is over-saturated with alot of "rinse and repeat" formulas. Its been that way for the past few years becuase money has overcome the artform...therefor shortcuts to sucess have been setup. But as we look at history, this doesnt last too long and a change will have to occur. Change is the ONLY consistent thing in life. And in order for there to be a "dre sound" or a "kanye sound" or "Runners" sound..they would of had to come up with a SOUND that was differential in the first place ? So what i beleive maestro is saying...he will get IN the game with the "maestro" sound, and all you other niggas can try to follow that formula if you wnat..but his sound is gonna keep elevating and changing as his expressiong seems fit..but all in all you will be able ti identify MAESTRO....

So you guys arguing about originality VS giving the people what they want is dead right now.

He is just saying he is gonna give people what he makes, and they gonna want it. no no no...they gonna NEED it.

Thats how much he beleives in his self and his craft..and i congratulate him..becuase i when he does make it..you all will remember that.

Also, alot of you guys following formula will never escape or elevate to the just blaze /dre level becuase of that... you guys may mak some money and make tracks for rappers.. but you wont ever ever ever establish something based on someone elses work or by mere sharp/witty practice..

its a law in the universe, that simply doesnt work.. you have to bring something new and original in order to be sucessful in this world... originality in terms of music being your OWN combination of experience and expression.

He's right on the courage tip...

I wouldnt say courage, but i'd say niggas aint tryin to be bold and do somethin more creative, innovative, and original wit they shit... not even on a few beats.... Im not even gonna front like IM a super creative, super original muthafucka, but I have my momments/tracks/beats where i do some type of shit thas way diffrent from your average rap shit.

And the funniest thing about maestro beats. Is they don't sound sny different than wats out now. I'm not hearing nothing revolutionary. Maybe in his own mind. 90% of you beats that I hear. Are mad stiff and overall weak. And considering I killed u in that battle also.

Anyways wat formula are u following. Everyones beats sound different. I sure as hell know mine do. U can hate but u can't put none of my rnb beats next to anyone elses and say it sounds like that. Period.
