DNA is not evidence for anything being related--as in being proof or evidence that animals evolved from a common ancestor. However, if you observe that DNA is similar in animals by some percentage, that just means they have a similar percentage...You can put your interpretation on that observation, but concluding common ancestry is not evidence. It proves a common designer. It's just an observation, with a conclusion that is not scientific. It does not prove we evolved from a chimp like ancestor. Knowing how some thing works, such as DNA, does not mean we understand it's organization. For example, to show how silly it is: Clouds are 100% water and watermelons are 97% water. They are only 3% difference...this proves they evolved from a snow cone 5.3 million years ago. No, not at all. The genetic difference between a chimp and human is 1.6% and that's a gap of at least 48,000,000 nucleotide differences. It might not seem like much, but if you consider that only a change of 3 is lethal to an animal. . .there is no DNA evidence for evolution happening. Not to mention everything else, which is a lot. In fact, there is no evidence.
